You can get Obitsu from Junky Spot. Otherwise you've just gotta keep an eye on the usual places for repro Henshin bodies. As photo'd above, the King Walder II (or Cyborg 99) bodies work with some modification to the shoulders. But stay away from the Neo Henshin - they have ankle flanges that keep the boots from fitting on the legs. I've been trying to figure out a good mod for them, but haven't come up with anything decent yet. For that black Death Phantom I'd just buy a clear Obitsu body. Otherwise you might be waiting a long time to score a repro Henshin body.
Ain't found a way to kill me yet Eyes burn with stinging sweat Seems every path leads me to nowhere Wife and kids household pet Army green was no safe bet The bullets scream to me from somewhere Here they come to snuff the rooster, aww yeah, hey yeah Yeah here come the rooster, yeah You know he ain't gonna die No, no, no, ya know he ain't gonna die (x2) Walkin' tall machine gun man They spit on me in my home land Gloria sent me pictures of my boy Got my pills 'gainst mosquito death My Buddy's breathin' his dyin' breath Oh god please won't you help me make it through Here they come to snuff the rooster, aww yeah Yeah here come the rooster, yeah You know he ain't gonna die No, no, no ya know he ain't gonna die.....
That group looks great NT. Always great to get some suits onto bodies. The Walder II bodies do look good. What needs to be done to the shoulders? One method for the Neo Henshins is to grind down the cuff around the ankle. I started to do this on one but didn't get to finishing it. It was a fair bit of removing from memory. The obitsu bodies work well with the Death Phantoms. Small issue with the neck post I find, but works well enough.
Here's my collection with the new guys added...the clear Dokuroking is completely invisible in this pic! Also have the two Halloween Death Phantoms that still need bodies...
Thanks for the pic posts Brian and Dr Death! Ive never seen some of these figs before - and they are killer!
Yeah a nice combo I was surprised to see when I got the Mantis... It kept it from getting stripped and painted. lol. Pretty cool! What was the insert about on this exactly?
Pretty cool! What was the insert about on this exactly?[/quote] Meaning lost in the annals of time unless someone remembers the promo from 10 years ago.
In 2005 S7/SB released a set of 5 (or more if you count Japan versions) Halloween figures with those numbered tickets. This one pictured was only released in Japan if I remember correctly (I think there were 2 with a number zero, I always liked this one the best but never tracked one down). S7 had their own set of 5. You could redeem the tickets and get a free figure, which was an unpainted black ghostfighter (and maybe a black madball mantis for the Japan set?) Found a couple olden time threads on the topic but doesn't exactly clarify, there is probably a better thread out there somewhere: viewtopic.php?t=291 viewtopic.php?t=527 Actually digging around I found this old picture I took that includes the 5 Super 7 figures and the black ticket redemption Ghostfighter (among other things from late 2005 haha):
I remember the S7 releases. I think they rolled the 5 figures out once a week or something, if I'm remembering correctly. The figure I posted has always been more mysterious (to me anyway) maybe because of the way it was released - back at the original SB location, I guess. I've only seen a few loose ones in collections over the years and thought it was fun to see a bagged one with the cool header, little 0, and paper insert - still all there after a decade.
