Re: Lets see the Marbled goodness! we have a canon PowerShot Elph 110HS, I am trying to figure out the best setting to use to capture glow shots...any ideas?
Re: Lets see the Marbled goodness! Not this one I'm no expert, by any means, but I wouldn't post a picture unless I could at least make it out. I have a Nikon 3100. I use the 10 second timer and put it on the P setting (whatever that means). Then I just let the camera do the rest. I know it has to do with shutter speed and such. I could maybe take better shots, but I just haven't messed around with it enough.
Re: Lets see the Marbled goodness! ^^ That way, the camera will tend to use the lowest aperture and high ISO, which results in less sharpness and more grain. Personally, I'd recommend setting the camera to "M", ISO 400-800 max. and starting with a higher aperture - if the pic turns out as crisp as you want it but could be brighter, use a lower shutter speed, if it's the other way round use a higher aperture and make up for the resulting loss in brightness by adjusting the shutter speed accordingly. Zincsaucier also posted some pointers on taking GID pics a while back.
Re: Lets see the Marbled goodness! ... marbled! ...the attachments are... well... fun too. (MAY have already posted these images... Damn brain)
Re: Lets see the Marbled goodness! As much as I love the Orm arms on this one, somehow the hair didn't really do it for me - until... Spoiler Spoiler
