There is endless inspiration for toy designers and so many great things happening at the moment, but is there something you love from Sci Fi/Horror movies that you wish someone would make into a toy? I've been on a 50's/60's Sci Fi movie run lately and thought how cool would a sculpt/toy like this be? The Rat Spider from Angry Red Planet(aka creature on the Misfits Walk Among Us Lp) Anything out there you would like to see?
@EVOM No way! No clue that was ever made into a toy. Do you know when this was released? So stoked to find out this was actually made.
Google is your friend: http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemL ... ntentID=99 Also we have a really nice search option here
I dont have much M1 knowledge except for knowing which of their toys i love I wish i knew more about their stuff but i dont collect them hardcore so I dont research much. check out the m1go thread for tons of awesome pics and info. I know it's easy to just ask questions here but there is an insane amount of info written on this board and you should definitely search things out before asking most of the time. Do your homework as they say...
@Evom...thanks, I found out it was released in 2007 for Super Festival 43 and there are other versions of this. And yes, next time I will do some searching before asking(rookie move), as now I even see a Red Version of this for sale when I did a search in SB for info on this toy ...duhhh, I'll figure out the protocol. Well, hopefully more people chime in with some thoughts with things they would like to see be made, if anything was just trying to make a friendly thread.
I wish someone would make some action figures of these guys: I love the Blind Dead movies. Also, why hasn't anyone made some Night of the Living Dead action figures?
And some more searching will turn up that this is a topic that frequently comes up on here. Another dedicated thread on the forum for this discussion: http://skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=42860 And yep, the RatBatSpider has been around for quite a while. Matt, I see you asked for the Rita Repulsa figure yet again. Was there not a Bandai version of her made in the 90s to tie you over for the time being? I see they have a new version in the PR: Samurai line; not nice and bulky J-vinyl of course - more of an action figure - but it is something. Just found this, and thought you might enjoy it.
