I was stoked to get the mecha cadaver kid,that little guy rules!

I was a bit hesitant about the matte finish, but these little rodents rule

 

really bummed i missed out on this preorder they are so perfect

 

Same here, pissed I didn't grab them. Hopefully there will be another matte finish in the future.

 

I think they all will be matte. It has something to do with the mold, that's unless they made 2 molds.

I remember Joe saying he wanted that vintage toy feel, and boy does that matte finish send that in. These guys look great !

My favorite is that human face guy, so exohead like.

 

Yes they will all be matte. I think it's created by applying a special finish to the mold.

I Really love the matte vinyl. I'm glad we went for it.

 

Unbagged pic. I understand there is one shiny set called the 'London' version, which I believe is red vinyl ? Can anyone confirm or deny this ? Additionally, are the blanks matte as well ? Really happy with the set, Jon's paint apps are most excellent .

The ToyCon set (London Lab Mice) appear to be on glossy red vinyl as opposed to the other vinyl colors which all look matte... this pic borrowed from Joe's IG really shows the difference.


For what it's worth, I think this matte vinyl is perfect for this crew... and I love how they're a little squishy too. Gotta go check out Mr. Brains (Moe) again, and see if I can find the "Splurrt" in there...

Yeah the red were pulled before we applied the matte finish. Those red ones are the only release that will have normal vinyl gloss. Yeah I noticed as well the vinyl on the matte mice is slightly squishy, pretty cool. Stay tuned there is also a very cool collab with the mice coming up.

 

Anyone pick up the blind one-off mice? I'd like to see some of them if you did.

 

Hey guys. Yeah - the red mice were a sort of last minute thing - had them pulled before we re-did a couple parts in the mold (and added the matte finish). Unfortunately, since it was a bit of a rush, there weren't many of them.

Glad people are liking the pre-order mice!

 

Not sure if anyone has seen this yet. But I figure is share this custom Splurrt Cadaver Twin by D-Lux. He is my pride and joy & soon to be accompanied by a new Brother/Sister.

 

the paint app looks really nice on this, I take it thats a blue glow base? I really don't think doll eyes suit this figure though, at least not protruding like that, maybe if vinyl was removed and they were attached inside the head.

 

Looks good is think the eyes bugging out is fun but they look so much better set in.
