With apologies to my favourite giant sized fellow, this is one great figure. More pics in the Ultraseven thread.
^^ Was that the one on Mandarake recently? . . . i passed on it cuz the paint looked a bit worn . . . it looks a lot better in your photo! Really cool figure - i will have to track one down sometime.
That is a really nice score Michael. I just love the Barom-1 villains; such fantastic creativity in monster design, and they have been executed in toy form just beautifully. They are definitely a line I have to collect on my dream toy list, if I ever can. Lovely colours on that one you picked up too.
Finally got myself one of these fellas. So quirky and cool; lovable and threatening at the same time. Stumbled across this one for a good price, since he has seen better days, so I couldn't not adopt him. A few more pics in the Lion Maru thread.
Congratulations Steve! He's a nice figure to be sure, and he's currently on my #1 Want list! Thanks for sharing the photos, such a great villian!
One of the best boxes I ever received in all my years of collecting! The ivory Neronga has been a "grail" since I first saw it. The Mighty (Maity) is amazing and just look at the red ears on the flesh Gyango.
that's a huge statement, but i can see why you'd claim such a thing—what a line-up of beautiful specimens! i bet you grinned ear to red ear just like gyango when you opened that box
Great haul, Mark! The paint on that Neronga is great - most seem to have a lot of wear. Heck, I'm still on the hunt for a nice normal blue one (I only have the brown with silver one). And the Gyango and Gabora also look real nice. I've been hunting for affordable nice versions of those too.
No kidding that that is some haul, Mark! A box full of vintage gems and delight. All very excellent, but if am forced to concede my internet jealousy it is over that King Zaiga. Such a wonderful toy. Congratulations on all the new fellas!
^^^^ Awesome looking box. What's the name of the green guy? I managed to get something I've been hunting for the last 14 months or so... this guy has jumped right into top spot for weirdest and coolest toy I own! He's got a few marks on him that I'm pretty sure would clean off... although I'd be nervous!
GariGari is a great toy. A brush-up w/ a soft toothbrush, mild soap, and warm water will do a good job cleaning most any vinyl. The green guy to the left is King Zaiga from Mirrorman made by Bullmark. The green guy on the right is Mighty, a pachi kaiju by a somewhat obscure company called Daikyo. Gargamel has done an interpretation of him.
