R-Type dimensions. It is a polished rerelease of R-Type I and II! (so, exact the same games with new HD 3D graphics and new sound but you can switch back to the original look and sound anytime while playing). So great! So hard! Also, still Dark Souls II.
Anyone still on Dark Souls 2? I'm currently playing NG+ on the hunt for that ultimate armour and weapon and essentially playing a lot faster through the game than NG. Looking forward to the DLC although BloodBorne is now on top of my want list:
I am still on my first playthrough. I just cannot play as much as I wanted as my GF is my wingwoman and I am only allowed to play when she is there. So, how do you like it overall? I think it is the weakest of the series so far. I still can recall all the bosses from Demon's Souls and some of the ones from Dark Souls but hardly any boss from DSII since they just do not leave a strong impression. Also, the lore just does not drag me in. It just does not feel as thought through and deep as in the other games. Lots of random things (at least that's how I see it at this point of the game). So what are these ultimate items you are looking for?
Ok, in general I agree this is the weakest of the series but it still remains a Dark Souls game (which to me means better than 95% of any other release). It certainly lacks some touches in terms of level design, especially thinking of places like the Fortress of Sen (just to mention one level I hated and loved at the same time) and bosses are no way comparable to the Demon's / DS ones, neither in terms of personality nor of difficulty (just a few can be tricky like the giant rat or whatever he's called in Pharos). In NG I haven't taken down the ancient dragon or the king but I'm aiming to kill them in NG+. Overall I'm enjoying it though I think you can feel that Miyazaki wasn't involved in same measure as the previous episodes. What am I looking for? The Kings Set armour and tempted to go raw with my mace +10. With 91 STR I want to cap at 99 to max the physical dmg; and possibly increase whatever other stats I can to build the ultimate tank
Anyone playing Path of Exile? I heard its like Diablo III but with infinite customization instead of dumbed down cookie cutter disappointment.
The newest street fighter is FREE for anyone who has xbox gold right now. So is this game that is actually really cool. Just need to be a gold member and it's yours for free forever.
New Destiny Alpha gameplay footage looks insane, could be a good reason to get a ps4 later in the year.
Played Dragons Crown solid co-op only with a friend for maybe 20-30 hours all up. It doesn't have much longevity but was tons of fun while it lasted, Once it started to turn into a grind we got bored and stopped playing. This was the same deal for me with Diablo 3. I really don't care all that much about playing the whole damn thing again just so I have better gear to just kill the same bosses that are only harder to kill. Finished the game on normal and now its collecting dust somewhere.
Anyone else tried The Last of Us on that new grounded mode? I have never thrown my controller in frustration so much.
Same here! Beautiful while it lasted, though. I didn't think the side-scrolling beat 'em up had much more life in it!
If anyone else is still playing WoW add me as a friend. My battletag is slowxdeath#1785. There are a few SBers that still play.
I only just played tLoU recently, I beat it on normal and then played it all the way through on new game plus. I haven't had so much fun with a game since dead space 2. I can't imagine how grounded mode must be.
