and all the paint apps on the slimebat bring the sculpt to a whole nother level

For getting there as late as I did, I was really happy with what I was able to choose from and finally purchase. An exceptionally great show as everyone else has said before, congrats to everyone involved. I had a blast talking with all of the members I don't get to see often and meeting some new ones. Don't let this place fool you, there are some really cool people on here.

I know that it must've been nice to see such nicely done fully painted up Slimebats in person, jvles.

Course all of the works look stunning. Ha, not that I should expect any less from y'all.

Man, the Domino Jacks are just bananas. I really like the detail that paul put into them. The sam heinouses also are so detailed I wish I could see one in the flesh.

Ive been trying to figure out how to say thanks without going over board, because this show is now in my top 5 events Ive been involved in.

Great showing, great turn out, great after party. Everyone who came got something, and had a good time it seemed.

There is nothing more I can ask for, period.

Thanks again for all the support everyone I had a BLAST.

Good friends, toys and burgers... is there much more you can ask for ?

Also, since I was being feed beer non stop since the beginning of the event I hope I wasn't too bad. Same for the after parties beginning when Paul gave me a bourbon mixed drink that was no joke.... then onto the byob at local burger and then at the dive bar down the street..... I was a mess by the time I got back to the hotel .... yeah sorry.

Onto NYCC in the east, than DCON in the west !

On the way back to the hotel, I decided I wanted something to eat, only place open was the burger joint. I made a comment about some fake British accent, shitty white boy dreadlock having fuckboy, then me and Rich are pretty sure he made a comment about my svelt physique, then he starts in with the whole hippie bullshit.

"Hey man what's the problem, we're all brothers of the human race Blahblahblah"

"Fuck you, you're not my brother get the fuck away from me"

Repeat hippie bullshit

Repeat curses and threats, stunned hippie look, stumbles up to some girl starts making out with her I get my food and we leave.

This after making fun of all the drunkin frat assholes that were in the place.

Good times.

 

Sounds like I missed some fun!

Next time, the wife and I are definitely making my folks take the kids for the night.

Rich couldn't have recapped the experience any better. The show figures and art were top notch, and the allotment per draw was perfect for the attendance. It really did seem like everyone left the event happy and the smiles continued long into the night... at least until Adam Durwitz's bastard son showed up...?!

Congrats to Jim and Nicole, Paul, Rich, Michael, and all who showed up for a successful show. Big thanks to PK for flying out, it just wouldn't have been the same without ya... that also goes for Kevin who traveled a very long distance as well

Thoroughly enjoyed putting faces to screen names and meeting many SB's and IGers for the first time. Too many people to shout-out, but a sincere thank you to everyone I met and had the pleasure of talking with. Being able to score from the show was just a bonus, actually feeling that (sometimes elusive) sense of community was the real highlight of the weekend. Easily the best memories of this summer.
Look forward to seeing you all again, hopefully sooner than later!

 

I really think it might be my favorite piece on the show If not the best) ... i know it because im feeling certain degree of unhealthy envy right now.

The slimebats were all beautiful to see (via pictures). I doubt there's any available, but I'm going to keep an eye or two out for more of them in the future.
