You might have misunderstood my intent. I know the film, the mutant babies, and the years/era well, I was being courteous to ChimpleyKaiju as he mentioned that the film and monster design were from a 60s film.
So many films, especially b-pictures, share very similar titles so I wanted to be sure and give the benefit of the doubt. (Dark House, Dark Night, Monster, The monster, I Monster, etc. and so on.)

Please put a few coins in the Basic Manners Jar for rolling your eyes at me over a simple misunderstanding. :?

/Edit/ "It's the 1969 movie. The 1974 movie with the same title is something completely different than the 69."
Ah, see, I'm not aware of that one. Thanks for clearing that up, man.

Dude! 22 inane posts in a single day deserves way more than eye-rolling . . . even if you are Ned Flanders!

In comparison to socially stunted, hate-mongering, self-loathing internet trash, even ol' Neddie seems like quite the swell guy, eh?

You should just quit while you're behind. Every board has trolls, you should've done maybe an hour of research before you joined. You've already established yourself as a troll 20 something posts in. Your personal attacks on board members do nothing but make you the new asshole whipping boy. It's not rocket science.

There's a wealth of knowledge and some cool (and very talented) people on this board. Develop a thick skin, roll with the punches a little, contribute something positive to the board, and you'll be fine. Or keep calling members inbred and socially stunted. Your choice.

No, Andy is socially stunted and inbred, but he's my socially stunted and inbred board member. Only I can refer to him as such

Quit using the words 'stunted' and 'member' in the same sentence . . . that only adds to my self-loathing!

The sculpts on these guys are too fun. I'm glad I was able to get one.

@Donkeykonk - that's a really nice picture of a really nice toy. There's something weirdly perfect about those original Monsters.

    -----------

    If I may.....

Actually I did read many posts before I joined, and I'm not really sure what you meant by "quit while you're behind"....other than being a rather childish attempt at furthur insults, is there a point to that statement, or? As far as "establishing myself as a troll", it sounds like you might have been reading other posts or gotten your wires crossed. See, I was doing as I was encouraged to do, jumping in and participating in conversations. Regarding "personal attacks on board members", you seem to have that reversed, as well. I was merely posting in a positive, inclusive manner, and the person that you are rushing to the defense of attacked me, in fact.
Finally, as for me being an "asshole whipping boy", (w-o-w, please keep in mind folks, we are adults here, I guess?) thats your opinion, and apparently one that you are not only permitted to express here but encouraged to.

Speaking on choices that we all have, isn't it also your choice to not offer your unmerited, unwanted, thinly-veiled 'advice'? I have a feeling that if we were to re-shoot the film Frankenstein that you would definitely be ideal for the role of 'Irrational Villiager no. 34'. Sheeeesh, aren't we all here for a shared love of TOYS? :? Typically, xenophobia and attacking that which one does not know or understand shows absence of intelligence and growth as a human.

Oh, and the Pugs are lovely Thanks for all the helpful info Cyberann. I went to that site and sniffed around. :D

Agreed. I lot of nonsense and long winded typing coming from new people these days. Occurs in almost every thread.

I apologize for my hand in that. You're right. As for me, I have nothing left to say on the subject anyhow.

8 years of scammers scamming, noobs not reading rules, hacks trying to hawk their shit and bloggers vying for interweb glory makes it real easy! ;)

Let us know how you feel after you've been on the board for 7-8 years. If I quoted you now and you last that long I guarantee you would say the opposite 7-8 years down the road.

Some of us older members may be a little cranky but we've seem shit storm after shit storm pass through here. After awhile you get a sense ya know what I mean?

I love these "very special group of older members".
These folks still care for the boards, many have gone quiet over the years.
Whoever you are refering to, I hope they don't quit before I do :D

Exactly! Many have given up after nonstop nonsense... Thankfully a few haven't.
