From what I can tell, it looks like they spread everyone around to maybe get more people to venture throughout the entire convention. See what else is out there. However, it seemed poorly thought out in it's execution is all. What I found ultimately amusing however was the lack of people standing in front of booths of the "so-called" heavy hitters... Oh, you know who they are I walked past one persons booth and heard crickets. Relative? Oh, I think not. One trick ponies, me thinks
^ Correct. all of these tables were in a far corner of the layout. It would have been nice to have all of the sofubi tables in one area, but I assume you get what the organizers give you. Real x Head, Goccodo, Uamou, Punk Drunkers, and Skull Toys were all right next to each other in the new 'extended wing' section of the floor (expanded area added from last year) but the lighting was horribly dark in that section of the con floor. Picked up a glitter Kappa and KappaKid
Yeah, he had issues with traffic, especially on Sunday. He booked it early due too no one walking to the back. I bought the last or second to last Sametan and one custom blind bag on Saturday. Sunday he still had most of stock it looked like, which is unfortunate. He sold out of the Sametan and Ace Robo though.
I saw that too. I don't know if it was ever actually up for sale or just up for the sake of showing that it exists?
Nice work with the paper guts Dokuroking! I hope the seijins are still being produced.. Maybe they just didn't fit well on the postcard.
I took this selfie a few years ago standing in front of a really bright open window--looks like I've got a new cosplay option!
The seijins are produced by Gargamel and designed by Koji. The figures on the postcard are all the figures Koji produces himself under the Cometdebris label.
Shit, I didn't realize the blue electric boy was opaque! I assumed it was clear blue and didn't seek it out. Damn. It's really nice!
