Nope, can't be done on single threads. I can make the Whatever forum not count, but even then there's no way to go back and retroactive it. It would only start not counting from when I made the change.

I don't think it is such a big deal. It is what it is in the end. People can always find other ways to boost up their post count, if that is something that matters to them (for a certain kind of person that comes here) - and we have seen it done in the past. You can always see a person's most active forum/topic anyhow. In the end though, I think everyone recognises that - for the true collectors and fans on the forum - things like post count and join date really don't add up to a whole lot in and of themselves.

Me too! I enjoy that thread because it's a fun game. I could not possibly care less about "post counts" or titles!

I've literally never clicked on the photo association thread until I just read Joeman saying he'd shut it down.... wow. What a dumb thread.

    James is the man!!!

I stick to the customs sub forum.
I don't particularly like overly moderated boards although this place sometimes needs it.
I have done my time in the wider board drama and want nothing to do w/ it.
I wasn't about to read that 5 paragraph monolog let alone move and lock it.

I was tasked w/ keeping people from selling their own works (there are glaring exceptions), shelter the new folks looking for an "in" to the participatory aspects of this hobby, and direct the appropriate conversations to the customs forum. I rarely post my own work any more and the bulk of my friends that actively participated have migrated to other pursuits. I would love to just drop in and post my stuff and split. If someone wants to mod the customs forum we can make that happen.

And yes I have a show coming up.
