If anyone isn't feeling their Re Burstron , please let me know! I missed the boat and this one looks amaze balls!
The new Draki with clear vinyl yoroi (armor) that was released for the Mandarake Siryosei Expo looks beautiful. I hope they release one in the future with the clear yoroi for pre-order.
Oh wow, that is definitely a beautiful figure. The clear vinyl really goes well with the pale blue of the figure. I actually like that it is a little translucent rather than completely clear. The silver paint prvides excellent highlights. Altogether that is a really lovely Draki figure. I'd welcome the chance at one; if they did a similar full release that would be great.
Yeah I think it is blue spray on GID vinyl. The effect is very nice. Almost gives it a 'daytime' blue glow. I would love to see some glowing shots of it too. I also love accessories on any toys. I wish more vinyl figures had them. Weapons and removable masks for everyone!
I've searched online for more pics but can't even find any info on this version, and barely any on the event except Mandarake's page on it.. I've always been on the fence about Draki but GID might just send me to the other side. Good sleuthing Anthony
This is indeed a wonderful release, a collabo between zollmen x dohatsuten. But it is crazy expensive at retail ! Although it does come with nice omakes.
Very nice, very expensive, have a feeling this is going to join the list if Zollmen GIDs I'll likely never acquire.
I see the new Re Burstrons are shipping. If anyone isn't really feeling their please hit me up as I really want this version.
I have a Zofbie question. With the unpainted blue ones, whats the dealio with the little blood vial? Is this just an accessory to sit next to the toy? It has actual liquid in it so I'm just confused as to if that was just for display. Seems like it would have made more sense to just have the bottle rather than putting fluid in it. Anyone know anything about this? The other versions don't see to have this included.
It's a accessory with red colored water to represent blood to quench the thirst of the Zofbie zombie. Just a fun gimmick for the toy.
^^ That makes sense, I almost wish it was either empty or had a barrier under the cap to not let the liquid out. Either way its cool. Kinda surprised this came with unpainted zofbies instead of the painted.
I think that's a homage to old Marusan/Bullmark toys from the 60's when you could get a 'paint your own version'. They did this with a few Ultraman toys. At least that's my take on it, or it could be just a goofy accessory. Zollmen seems to have a very distinct vintage feel at times, especially with the earlier releases. They all link to the past somehow.
