Thanks Lixx! I bought the group just for the Mecha Godzilla. I love this one's colors over the slightly bigger Panorama version that's just grey.

Congrats on the pickups. I almost drove the price up on you  , but fortunately, I had something else I was pursuing! Wanted that MG too! Great colors.

As Lixx said, that middle one is Ryu from Gatchaman.

Yeah, really nice lot of vintage pickups. Congratulations! The mini MG is definitely such a great figure, I can understand why more than a few folks on here would be interested in that set. Even with the damage, this is a great starting point for you to start building a vintage shelf. You may just find it quickly becomes addictive. :)

Just got back from G-Fest! Picked up a new Bullmark standard Godzilla. (Third one in in the picture). What caught my attention was the metallic green fins. I thought they were always blue fins unless Hawaiian.

great pics, spine shots look amazing. I think I've seen a non-Hawaiian Goji with metallic spray before...

Excellent lot of toys you picked up there Connell. I would love to own every one of them. So is that a 'fixed' head Redman? I have been wanting to buy one of those Gekko Kamen figures for some time. Any toys with weapons just call out to me. I have always wanted to build a whole army of the MB villains. They are just so great as crazy robot monsters, and I adore all their weaponized parts. Really excellent paint and colouring on your examples. Beautiful stuff, man.

^^^^ Thank you. Yes, the Redman is a fixed head. I too am obsessed with the Mach Baron enimies. Would love to eventually have them all but when I think I've seen them all a new one pops up somewhere else. Still have a ways to go.

Congrats. Have you tried cleaning that transparent Barom One to see if the transparency could be improved? I was tempted to snag that auction but had other priorities.

^^^^^ This guy has definitely been in play mode most of its life. I did try and clean it some but for the most part I think its staying like that. Has anyone ever tried to boil old clear/yellowed vinyl with a tiny bite of bleach in the water? Just wondering if I should experiment or if its a totally bad idea.

Careful Connell with Redman, he's quite addictive! Luckily as far as I know there are just Giant size, Popy mini size, Removable Mask, Non Removable Mask, and Clear Standards. I love him!

Well, typically I would be careful for treatments for vintage toys Connell, but given the condition of the Barom-1, I also think I would easily be willing to take more of a gamble for a 'clean' payoff. Did you see the related thread on restoring GID vinyl that yellowed? Anyways, you might try something, even just plain water as a first go. The only concern I would have happens to be with this particular toy, because of the innards. I don't know how long you could leave it before/if the treament penetrates, and what that effect would have on the paper. It might be worth a little test gamble, if you are keen, but you can also just leave him as is. I am perfectly fine -and in fact, all in love with - well-played with toys, but I know that condition does pose an issue for a lot of people.

That is a shame, sorry to see you go already. Always sad to lose anyone in the vintage circle, we are getting smaller all the time. We have all been there and know the financial strain that comes along with this hobby. Did you consider trying to sell some of your items on here? I am sure there are a few people who might be interested. We generally try to offer stuff to the community before going the whole auction route.

EDIT: I just checked out your auctions, and that is indeed kinda heartbreaking. :| Some amazing toys you have collected there. I hope they find some appreciating homes.

Yeah, it always sucks to see someone leave the hobby. And I see it happen way too often. Good luck with the auctions. I know that I will likely help drive up the price on a few! ;)

Fairly large, unknown maker, Made in China soft Dragon. Don't know anything about him but I dig his colors!

    ^ Interesting, nice colors.

Got some new toys the other day. Pretty stoked with the two giant tiger mask guys. Also, after many years, found the miura "ghidorah". Apologies for the crap photo, lighting wasnt so good.

Damn Viva! Great pickups. Love the Tiger Mask figs, the Balties and the colors on that Ghidorah are beautiful.

Those look familiar! ;) Man, those giant-sized Tigermask toys really look huge when seen in a group setting. My favorite is that trike. So good. And that "Ghidorah" makes me sad cause it reminds me of the "Gomora" I passed on recently. I love that series.

Kerk, pretty funky. Look s large.

I managed to pick up a bit of vintage recently. I haven't really had time to sort through it all, so I will share some pics as I find the time (and these are pre-cleaning). Here are two. Nothing too crazy, but two figures I really didn't like for a long time. My appreciation grew over time, though, and holding these really makes me like them a lot more. The Kittyfire just looks so evil when you get a good look at the face. Mine is not in the best condition, but it suffices for me. And the Twintails - I think owning the mini "Soul of" made this one grow on me. Its not terribly expensive, but I just have not seen it up for sale that much lately.

So much goodness popping up on this page guys! I am glad to see that there is still a little activity going on in the vintage area (and hopefully we see a bit more, with those recent ebay auctions).

Jonathan, what a haul!! I don't even know where to begin with that mountain of amazing. The giant Tigermasks - of course spectacular and hard to come by in such wonderful shape - really, really nice. Poly KR, Bullmark minis, all great. I have been wanting to get one of those KZ Gaboras for a long time too, he is just so chunky and hunchbacked, I love everything about the figure. Very nice find! And, I offer major congratulations on finally landing the Miura bootleg 'Ghidorah.' I have always adored it, and know you have a great liking for him too, so I am happy you found one. Yours has such nice paint, really strong black accents, lovely gold, and looks like he might have stepped right off a 70s toy shelf. Fantastic!

Myles, equally nice finds you got there. Kittyfire grew on me too, and I still have yet to track down any vintage versions of the character. He looks really nice, and I wouldn't even hesitate over the small condition flaws you mentioned; loved is lovable. The original Twintail is great and underrated. They can be found for real bargains for any hunter, I think it must have been one character that Bullmark just did a whole lot of - something I have always wondered about (i.e. relative production numbers for characters) - because every toy shop in Japan seems to have one or a couple at any given moment, and the prices for a vintage figure are so affordable. I myself picked up a bargain beat-up fella, but yours looks really good. He is a great starting point for anyone getting into vintage Bullmarks.
