eBay seller charged for Priority shipping and sent via Ground (cheapest possible). Almost 2 weeks later and still waiting on delivery. Toy was just scanned in here in Des Moines Thursday.

I definitely will. I sent the seller a message asking about the over charge for shipping. The individual replied and rattled off some non-sense about how bureaucratic eBay is and stated something to the effect that if so many people are upset by this then nobody will have the pleasure of buying his/her toys from now and how they will be taking their auctions down. Prior to me buying, seller had 100% feedback. Since buying it's now down to 94% and I have yet to leave my feedback.... and as an aside, Im STILL waiting for it to show up. USPS is trying to find out where it went. Silly seller, had it been priority like it said in the auction it would have been insured up to $100 and they could be reimbursed. Now if it's lost the seller will up shit's creek without a paddle as they say and I will still get my money back.

I hate this BS. I bought a Blobpus-painted Hormorah (used but at retail price) after being told it was perfect quality, and it had a big two inch black paint rub on it from another toy. Sneaky guy took a photo of the toy from the side so it wasn't shown. Later the guy was outed as a flipper, so I guess I'm not surprised. Still sucked...

The paint rubs on that Hedoran are so obvious too. On the eye? FFS how do you miss that?
Also for the love of all that is holy can people dust their toys before listing them...

 

Fuck you to weird buyer on eBay.

I sold some old video games on the site. One guy wins multiples and asks for combined shipping, which I gladly offer in my descriptions anyway. I send an invoice with the correct amount. No issues.

A day later he requests the invoice again so he can pay. I reply that I sent the invoice already but sent it again. He pays. No issues.

It gets delivered today and the positive feedback I get is "Shipped so fast, I overlook the fact that seller didn t respond to my questionS". Huh? Stupid. Otherwise it was a smooth transaction but an annoying aftertaste.

Anybody want any PS2 games??

I never got into buying games for older systems, but I can imagine how that might bring a very picky and perhaps somewhat difficult clientele.

The odd thing about him is that he's really new to ebay (joined 2015, only has 15 feedback score), but used serious language like "overlook" - like it was a transgression that I had done. I've been on ebay for 16.5 years. I know how to do my job.

But once you sleep on something (did I say that right?), it doesn't bother as much the next day.

100% agreed. My girlfriend had a non successful spinal fusion and is prescribed tons of those- which makes her moods go all over the place and drives me batty. I can go from empathy, to anger, to wanting to jump out of a five story building all within an hour and that's just from being around a person taking them.

While I'm at it -fuck other people's inability to not see my side of things- EVER! I feel like I'm speaking a foreign tongue 24-7.

My sister now thinks that my parents and I have caused all her mental issues for various non-logical reasons like:

• My parents didn't send her to summer camp as a child
  My parents didn't force her to continue her guitar or oboe lessons
  My mom didn't send her to school with imperfect hair
  I showed her "emo music" when she was 12
  I had depression when I was a teenager
  I drew and still continue to draw (and now sculpt and collect!) "bleeding demons and monsters"
  I'm weird

In other words, she's scapegoating everyone and everything except for her genetics.

I'm not embarrassed to admit that we come from a long line of mentally ill people. We have ADHD, depression, OCD, anxiety disorders, even a lobotomy scattered throughout our family tree.
But no, obviously my sister in an exception and somehow became crazy because she listened to My Chemical Romance and saw a demon doodle in my sketchpad.

Maddie, my Aunt is in a community for mentally impaired people and although her personality disorder will always have her thinking it's everyone else's fault but hers, she was able to agree to this setup. The organizations out there that provide these type of living environments are also trained to communicate with these individuals on their level, teaching them that these steps forward are in their independent best interests (which they are). Look into some in your state. If you need help, I can find the information on my Aunt's and I'm sure they can point you in the right direction. Even if she may never accept her diagnosis, living in an environment catered only to her wants and needs is her only shot at having a fairly good life.

If she stays with y'all, it's only going to get worse. Trust Me... Death is permanent. Sound dramatic? Yes, but once that happens, there's no re-dos...

Sorry that y'all are having to go through this, for her and you guys. It's far from easy.

 

Thankfully she is capable to holding a job and a boyfriend (though the levels of torture they put each other through border on humanly unbearable, making me ALMOST think they might both be alien plants) so when she does graduate and move out within the next year, things will get better. At least there will be hundreds of miles of distance between us.
I do predict our phones ringing at all hours of the day though... at least 50+ times in a row if we decide not to pick up. And god forbid she breaks up with her boyfriend.
