It's a very small tower. I want to say about 3 inches. There is a picture out there where a garudan is holding one. i'll try to find it. EDIT: Found the measurements. 80 mm so about 3 inches. http://japan81-plm.shop-pro.jp/?pid=99622616
Gargamel posted a little bit about the Vendor bot on their blog, included some new pictures. http://blog.livedoor.jp/gargamel/
Dang, need that clear Vendor Bot! My dog ate part of my yellow one, but I think I'll throw a micro in it and have it be a battle-damaged Bot.
^^^^ Can someone please explain the logic of this? Wasn't Angel Abby the one(s) who did the shady lucky bag shit awhile back and got people, including Gargamel all riled up (with good reason)... I know this isn't the first time Garg has done a show with them either since the incident, not to mention an exclusive release. Just doesn't gel with me is all.
I agree, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The only thing that sounds logical to me is that maybe the people at Angel Abby bought multiple bags and what everyone saw was their cumulative purchases. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors though, Gargamel and Angel Abby could have talked and cleared it all up.
It could have to do with money, China is getting really known for high profile collectors with a lot of money burning holes in their pockets. Just speculation of course.
Who knows. Probably the funniest part is that AA used to come on this board until they were called out. Anyway, sorry for the derail.
Just for a refresher. AA came out of nowhere and hit the toy community pretty fast and hard. They bought a bunch of lucky bags as a retailer, opened quite a few, then parted out the remains they did not want. They also either went to, or had a bunch of mules for, a Gargamel show in Japan. They bought close to a dozen 1 offs. About a month later they tried to(unsuccessfully) trade, and then sell most of them. All that said, they seem to have learned from these actions and formed good communications with Gargamel and many other toy producers. I believe they have gotten better, but I also see where a lot of people continue to take offense to them.
Great summation. I've always tried to view those earlier events as them learning the business. They also didn't seem to have enough new product to keep the store open without re-selling toys and I think as their following and connections grew, they moved into more ethical practices and direct sales, rather than secondary. Also while Gargamel does shows with them they don't seem to bring a lot of pieces. I don't really want to dig through AA's instagram, but I feel like it's usually around 12 pieces
