You got that dramatic show lighting, though. It looks so good. I asked James how long this took, and he said eight hour days over two months.

how big is it? it looks massive.

 

15 inches tall according to Instinct Toys, but I'm curious as to what accessories it comes with

 

It's around the same size and girth as the King Korpse. The only accessory I saw with it was the skull in my photo, which James said is the skull to Instinctoy's Vincent.

The real killer for me will be the price factor. If this is done with insane prices of 400 and higher im out. But if they manage to do a few decently priced runs as well as blank pieces im all for it. Something tells me this probably wont happen though.

 

Why blanks? This thing will really with shine with an awesome paint job. Blanks are boring...

 

Well for one blanks are much more affordable to obtain and second blanks offer a lvl of clarity on the figures design that sometimes paint has a habit of masking if overdone.

I agree that blanks can be boring sometimes but not when they are marbled or done in a way that compliments the figure as a whole.

 

Marbled vinyl and mixed parts can be cool, sometimes. I'm just always more into painted figures and blanks don't do much for me, personally. There have been very few toys where i liked 'm just as blanks, but there are indeed a few that you can appriciate them more in that way.

 

Why not, white/ light colored blanks allow for painting while glow blanks look great by themselves or with a black wash (& they tend to be more affordable)

 

I think blanks are great. I personally have to be pretty into a sculpt to have a blank, and I do prefer painted over the latter, but I do find a certain degree of joy that comes with a solid colored toy!

 

Blanks can be tons of fun. There is almost no fear when you pose them and play with them and even pop them apart to mix and match. I try to be incredibly careful not to damage painted toys because someone's blood, sweat and paint went into creating that look. Blanks on the other hand are really difficult to damage. Plus it's cool to have vinyl monsters that I can let friends hold and play with without the whole silly lecture about being super careful because it's art and fragile and blah blah blah. Even friend's kids can play with them and have fun as long as they are old enough to not smash them or throw them across a room.

I won the DSKI one version, I do not need 2 of these. But I'm apparently stuck with two Rexx for the Rest of my life because Maddie and Czar say so? FUCK YOU BOTH. Biggest crybabys on this board hands down. We have already been through this, with Mods, and they said I am doing nothing wrong. SOOO WHAT is your point?

1. I didn't bring it here and try to sell it for this price.
2. I offered it here and nobody bought it. Remember my meats sale? Price was $250 SHIPPED.
3. I am not on SB flipping toys, I offered it here, and when it did not sell, I sent him to the bay....just like all of you told me to.
4. I have it listed for $399 take -$50 for fees, and -$25-30 for shipping, and I listed it as OBO, so I'll take less---so it's right around what I paid for it ($250+shipping) so there is no flip going on even on ebay, just trying to get my money back.

I honestly don't see why you couldn't just have kept both. They are both very different in color composition. Enough so that it would have been a great addition. Im sure you could have found a nice place to have both instead of just idk selling it off. Or heck you could have even have given the blank meat version to your son. Im sure he would have liked that.

Im personally not attacking what you do im just saying there were also other options as well. Heck even a close friend or whatever who was into that would have probably loved it as a gift.

 

Is that also the Kikkake rolly you bought from Gojigirl up there? Just curious.

 

I bought 6 items from gojigirl and 4 rolys, not that it's your fucking business. I'm not in a courtroom being cross examined. I didn't like the one I'm selling, kept the rest. Fuck you.

 

This is what I don't understand, you call out people on the boards (especially the BST) weighing in on flipping, the community, and other aspects of SB... but you don't adhere to those same standards you're setting out for other people. I don't see why you have the right to lecture others on what's proper behavior when you're breaking all the "rules."
Frankly it is our business when you tell other people how to act, then sell toys first on eBay (which is a public place I might add) instead of giving people on SB a chance. Hell, Gojigirl could have done the same thing you did, put all her rollers on the Bay. She would have made a very nice profit. That's not what she's about, and she offered them all at amazing prices to the community first.
