OK, now I'm seeing so many of these Photobucket "please update your account to enable third party hosting" things, and seeing them on posts so recent, that I'm beginning to wonder it they aren't directed at me and I'm the one who needs to update something. It's like when you're driving around in parts of the city and half the windows are boarded up because it's half abandoned. I don't know what they're doing over there but they're making the internet look like garbage. Thankfully, at least here. there's usually some Ghidorahs or Hedorahs around the corner to cleanse your eyes on.
Did a little re-organizing and focused on Hawaiian and GID with blue/silver sprays.. even a little crossover between hawaii & gid with the Jetturre figures View this post on Instagram
I know I'm lat to the party but holy hell this is a beautiful setup! Great taste love the Ken Taylor Creature print. What are the figures to the left on card? I can't quite tell from the packaging.
Thanks! This shelf arrangement has changed a bit now but the carded figures are Hero Gladiators by blue bird toys. They were released in Sweden and are fantasy based role playing game. I’m still after the base set but I don’t think one has ever come up for sale hahaha
Oh those are neat, I love the packaging with the Colorful Skeleton kind of remind me of Hero clicks but fantasy. Thanks for the heads up.
This beautifully dedicated collection of Grody goons was enough to make me log in and show some love!
Where is the Giant Bibo from? I I've come across the small squeaker Archie Mcphee release but that big one's a true beauty.
@PinkEye Morrison Yeah, the larger Bibo is a peach. It was offered to me by a collector in Taiwan, who told me it was very rare. He was correct, I've never seen another one online. The smaller version pops up now and then in different colorways. The ugly bumpy fellow is 'Trunker' from the show Godman made by Bear Model. That is the GID version, the only other colorway is a kind of burnt orange. Its a lovely chunky sculpt, the kind that BM do well.
Current fave shelf o' freaks ( + Sato Chan) at the moment. Picked up the little canvas + easel this weekend from a local arts organization that works with disabled adults. They had a lot of great work - picked up a charmingly spooky Phantom of the Opera painting which I will have to snap a pic of!
Is anyone here using wireless LED puck lights? Any advice or feedback you can give me would be appreciated, brand names, etc. I have a 10' shelf and four 2' shelves, all are a foot deep. I'm not sure how to light them so I might try putting wireless pucks facing upward, behind my toys. Here's a pic of my shelving, the Mockbat and Boss on top are just for scale, all my stuff is still in storage until December.
