    Took some clear toys with me to work. We have light tables for the kids to examine stuff at. When all students had left for the day I had my chance to play around with the equipment myself.

    I had never been able to appreciate this Stroll Eater because it was too dark for me. Until I Found a way to light him up. It was actually the first time I had been able to see the actual color of his sculpt.

    The above record and my first Bukowski book - Love is a Dog from Hell, natch! - were the one-two punch combo that launched my lifelong love of the particular printing process under discussion here. You should look into Bruce Licher, man - the Independent Project Records/Press fella. He's been at it since '82 and I think you'd dig his stuff.

    Got the VIP ticket solely for a shot at one. First stop inside and 4/5 people already in line... a friend & I swung by the booth about an hour later and she was long gone.

    Considering the fast sell, I'm hoping the maker is more inclined to consider overseas sales for future releases.

    I got in at ten and lined up for Refreshment Toy, but had the wife and kid wait their while I went to check the Angel Abby booth, or wherever it was, and it was gone. Kinda figured it would be, but you just never know.
