I wish he was bank sized, he's actually a mini figure and as far as I can tell, not hollow. The building blocks is a good idea!

Nice one, what size is that version? I bought the bigger playmates figure recently, but he's not as articulated. I prefer the 'means business' expression on yours as well . . .

 

@The Moog it's the 5 inch carded one; I'd been hunting the stores for awhile! Always more exciting to find it on the pegs instead of ordering it...

What?! Those go for like 15-20 on the reg.

 

That's because they randomly ship the Usagi toy in random boxes of 12 to each store so sometimes he appears in shipment boxes and sometimes it's left out completely. Iv opened enough boxes legally that are on the store floor after I get done with my job to see how Playmates does things. And it's normally 1 figure per case.

This JLA command center part of the Watchtower is the most impressive part of your new fetish yet, @toothaction. The balance of minimalism, intrigue, enjoyment, and recognizability must be a fine line. For example, I think the choice to leave the more defined visual graphics on the computer consoles. It works better than had the screens been filled with fewer & simpler symbols and shapes that mirror the figures' design aesthetics. This way instead adding to the realistic playability of the fantasy. It's a smart design move, but the type of idea that at first suggestion, you know the rest of the creative design team probably disagreed with. Ahem,... With a Rebel Yell, she cried, More, More, More!.. and then she got a promotion with her own office. Next stop, take over the world... I apparently have more respect for these peg people people than I thought.

I picked up those Mondo TMNT figures and I am more then happy with how they turned out. Hoping they try and add to the line a Casey jones would be a dream.

 

I was not impressed by that dinobot combiner IN THE LEAST! better off getting the 3rd party from TF source.

 

YES! Love them. I don’t have many, but my favorite is an old Takara Rodimus, so good!

 

They’re not perfect, but when it comes to Transformers I’m a “stock” guy! I just collect the Hasbro ones that I think are cool, and because I can buy them in a store. The 3rd party stuff can be nice, but my real money goes to sofubi! Transformers are like my candy crack.

 

TF is my og true love. I’ve strayed in my collecting habits.
I don’t by 3rd party. They’re real nice too look at though.

I like that one a lot too. There is a Devastator festival release from last year that I'm still waiting for the price to go down a bit on yj before pulling the trigger. Not to be mistaken for the Jumbo Machinder 1
