I love blacklight. I have a tiny handheld fluoro tube one, and two full-size blacklight-dedicated ballasts. The latter usually only come out for Halloween or special photo shoots these days. I really want to grab one of the newer LED-based mini-rigs... the flashlight version looks great. Anyone compared LED to fluoro tubes? I imagine they're much stronger...
I was just about to ask the same question! I see 4 foot LED rigs for like 25 bucks on Amazon and I would love to pick one up if they work well. Also, at my local Soencer’s, I saw a fluorescent tube that was 4 feet in length which also ran for about 25 bucks with the fixture. I’m looking forward to anyone’s comparison stories..
I used the LED ones I grabbed two 18” ones from amazon on sale for $20 each they work really well and I loved the upgrade from the tubes. The pic I took above was with one LED on about 4’ away. When I have both on it’s almost impossible to take photos without them looking blurry because of the brightness. Well worth the investment.
No good news here but Dennis always has something good cookin' for us (literally ) so no worries. Goji blue spiders on the horizon look fabulous.
Original Goji color is Classic!! I hope for blank but I’d love to see a goji inspired paint like the one he posted Lenny painted. That dude can paint. Either way I can’t wait!!!
I think classic Marusan goji paints on vintage color goji vinyl is going to bring me over to the Kumon dark side. @Alebrije - how about that?
Well come to the dark side my friend, I hope I can help you in something like you have done with me with the Gojis. Here we will be stalking that Godzilla Kumon .
If you own Sakura Pink, do yourself a favour and get a blacklight. I was messing around with the UV torch I bought today and my jaw dropped at this: Camera captures it poorly but when lit from the front I looks bleach-white, grey and gold. Not a trace of pink visible.
@Joshua mike Thanks a bunch, dude! The mirror images are my favorite to do, but I gotta stop slackin’ and get my toys out in the wild!
