Not a pacha figure, it is a real release. There are a couple in this series and very obscure. I don't have the Godzilla, but I do have Baragon and Angilas. These were 2000 yen not that long ago, it seems the obscure turns into rare movement has picked up on these.

I think this is a low price on this version of Inazuman. The Diamond Eye is very hard to get, but nothing like the Inazuman. I've only seen a handful of these ever, and in this day and age, something this rare usually goes crazy. This toy commanded this kind of price 15 years ago. I wonder if people even knew what they were looking at? (It is a completely different sculpt than the traditional popy removable mask version, but most people mistake it for that one.)

@brianflynn - Good to see you posting in the vintage forum. Also, thank you for the info on the keychain. I will file this one along with the photo I have of the Godzilla keychain:

I would love to see one in person some day. Looks like it has a fun expression.

That IS the missile launching button. :)

(by the way, I'm pretty sure this was technically a Bandai release, not Popy)

@Mr. Humphreys For some reason I feel pain to see it cut from the top, the price seems a bit high because in YJP they would treat it as a junk; if you look closely you can see that on the right side of the back of the figure is crushed. I want to think that the person who bought it has another loose figure and wants to make one with both.

Thank you Sanjeev. That is a mighty large button! :)
Roger, you have really sharp eyes! I know the description mentions an abdominal dent, but it wasn't until you clarified that the whole side is crushed, that I see that now! Shame such a beautiful toy is so broken :( I think he must have been very loved with lots of play. I remember all of those great JP toys my Mom bought me in the 70's when I was a kid, and how I broke them all playing with them everyday. Sigh... I had no idea they'd be "collector items" one day! :x Buying back my childhood toys now, is expensive business! :x:x:x

Yeah, the whole torso's kinda weirdly warped. Shame. Anyway, the actual button is the small nub you see on top of the larger cylindrical housing. I really like what Bandai did with this launcher design. It's pretty robust (unlike many earlier Bullmark/Takatoku launchers that have easily-broken trigger tabs)...and they were able to use the same launcher across their lines in a wide variety of MFVs.

Thanks for describing the launching mechanism Sanjeev. My Mom definitely would not buy any launchable missile toys for me, because being the rowdier sibling, she was sure I'd hit my brothers eyes or something (we got tons of Nerf balls instead! :)). It would be nice to see an actual working vintage missile launcher toy!

Grace think you were very lucky to have all those Japanese monsters as a child, my story is a little different; unfortunately as a child I never had any Japanese toys, all were Western toys and my only contact with the Japanese culture were some animes that I could see a long time after they were transmitted in japan, probably the ones that marked me the most were: Mazinger Z and Kamui the deserter ninja. Sometimes when I see my Ninja Arashi figures I imagine what it would have been like to have something like that as a child and I think I would have gone crazy, I could easily have spent days playing with those ninjas. :D

There was a seller with a pile of mixed lots up for auction over the weekend:

Bullmark mid-size MechaG with an intact missile launcher clip is hiding in this one. Sadly, not coming to my home though.

Anthony, I don't believe I have seen this Gamera before. It looks like a wonderful Shōwa era sculpt, along with a nicely understated color palette. Quite a stunning piece, wow.

Very early 1960's release. Doesn't come up for auction often. I usually see the re-printed edition of it every once in awhile. I was following those same auction lots you posted. Some great lots.

The seller description states they got it from Toho props. Also 2 highly respectable expert collectors believe it to be authentic.

That Cyborg Zoffy is such a beaut!

I didn't do the per-figure price breakdown on this lot, but figure it is a whole bundle of fun regardless. A lot of nice figures, I can imagine the Christmas-morning joy that would be had cracking up a box full of these goodies. :)

More close up pics (while they last) of individual pieces can be seen at the auction link.
