I never really comment on this kind of stuff or ever make a post about it but Jon doesn't feel like some kind of celebrity. He feels like a member of the geeking out over fun stuff community. He's bought resin toys that I've made myself. He supports so many things no one would really hear about otherwise. Right now he's in a bad way and already exhausted his life savings and his girlfriends and her family's even though he has medical insurance. It's hard living in a place where almost no one can afford to get really sick anymore. Official Statement from Holly Payne, Jon Schnepp's fiancé, his sister Deborah, his mother Miriam and his father David: Our beloved Jon Schnepp suffered a catastrophic stroke on Thursday, July 12th. Jon is on life support at this time. While everyone is desperate for updates on his condition, we ask for your understanding on giving us the privacy we need over the next few days as we deal with the difficult decisions concerning Jon’s care. Please keep him in your prayers, and in your heart. Thank you. Holly, Deborah, David and Miriam https://www.gofundme.com/getwelljonschneppfundraiser
Thank you for posting this, Jon is a friend of mine, and had a big part in helping launch me into the animation industry when I was first starting out. I thought about posting something about it here but wasn't sure what to say or if it was appropriate. Jon is an amazing guy, and Holly is also an amazing person. It's breaking my heart watching what she's going through through the lense of her instagram posts. Keeping Jon, Holly, and their families in my thoughts, I know he'll pull through. Skrink it Schnepp.
It's very sad news to hear of his passing yesterday. It's never easy, but to lose a loved one so suddenly is especially heartbreaking. My sincere condolences go out to Holly and his family.
