Come on then, five episodes into the new season. What do ya think? I'm still very much enjoying it but i have to say, the closer we get to the Breaking Bad time period i'm enjoying it slightly less (and i don't really know why), but by normal TV standards its still really fucking great.
OK, i take it back. BCS is still the best show on TV. The Long Good Friday with Pinatas was classic and the weird secret German workers facility is ripe for some fucked up shenanigans. Also, Gus with his hospital vigil was strangely touching.
Oh, and in case anyone's interested, the Wow Lynch Wow! guy has set his sites on the greater Albuquerque area. Not as fab as his Peaks reports, but I'm happily checking in with him every week nonetheless. Have more time to waste? You could do worse than the weekly hour with the crew, cast and creators of the show known as the Better Call Saul Insider Podcast. It's a little gladhanding at times, but always interesting. Stereolab? Seriously? Be still my beating heart.
^^ Totally. Kim surprised me. Mike, awesome as always. Nacho never disappoints. I loved the little scene with the beauty parlor boss lady. I leave bottle . . .
And so begins the compulsive pre-finale binge of the first nine installments of season 3. See you all in seven hours and seven minutes!
“They dangle these things in front of you, they tell you you got a chance — but I’m sorry, it’s a lie. Because they had already made up their minds and they knew what they were going to do before you even walked in the door. You made a mistake and they are never forgetting it — as far as they’re concerned your mistake is who you are. It’s all you are.” — Jimmy
Necessary episode. A gentle reminder. These are not good people that you "care for", and it's a dark twisted path they walk.
