New office setup as of a few months ago - just never got to upload the photos. The large ones are woodblock prints, and the smaller ones are done in the style of vintage matchbooks.

@Kingboy D - Excellent Toho-inspired artwork. I have not seen the vintage matchbox artwork before. Looks great.

^ Looks like the fellow either retired his kaiju prints or was asked to cease and desist....

Well that is really too bad. Especially since there are several other 'big name' licenses there. I thought most of this would fall under artistic license rules, but there is a legal grey area I suppose, and no one really wants to fight the legal power of big studios.

Excellent office set up in any case, I wish I could work in that kind of environment. The woodblock prints are especially lovely; I just saw them for the first time on Linda's IG. Love the Gamera one! I could definitely do with that duo.

Very nice. Good to see another useful [for a change] application of IG filters. By way of a first, firsthand report, is the quality on these up to snuff? I admit I am jealous of yet another great toy that Americans can just stroll down their department store aisle and pick up at their leisure. :| Int'l toy geeks need [much] more love.

It's so nice to be genuinely excited about an American toy aisle again. Hope it lasts! Mego Star Trek Sulu Chekov
I'm most impressed by all aspects of the four I have in hand, from attention to detail to quality of the bodies underneath the gatb. Bela's outfit is particularly stunning.

    Publicity!

@Vombie Congrats on landing that Turtles set! I am pretty jealous. I'd welcome just the chance to check these out in person. Neca did such a great job with the Eastman and Laird versions, which will always be tops, but man do I have some serious love for the Henson Turtles! Really sweet man, really.

@toothaction Public internet seems to be blocking that link, but anyhow, great to hear that the quality on these pays off. That is a nice set all ready for away mission adventures. Welcome [back] to kiddom. :)

This series was originally put up by Bandai as an April Fool's joke but people flipped out for them so they are now in production! November will have the second series including a large motorcyle figure. Since the joints are modular people are making neat stuff with them; on Twitter search for the hashtag #ねこぶそう

I have never heard (or seen) those Neko Busou before, but they look like a lot of fun. Immediately took me to the Rick & Morty episode.

I think the tank is my favourite, something I am going to have to add to the eventual trackdown list.

It's worth a revisit, if you want my two pennies on it. The show actually is pretty brilliant, but I can totally get and respect how it is an acquired taste going into the first couple of episodes. I've tortured myself by sitting through a lot of painful shows, but honestly, this one is not one I would ever regret being patient with. But if not, hey, that's completely fine too. Beats toy drama in any case, of which you never have worry over ending.

If they make some proper (and I mean proper, none of this Mission to Gamma VI stuff) playsets for away missions or haunted mansions, I will be so, so happy.

Picked up a doll that I wan't really sure about - a good sale was going on, and I needed to bump my order a bit to get free shipping - but it's as I suspected...

He doesn't quite go with the rest of my 14" dollies:

Those are some delightful big fellas, but man.... those shelves.

Glad you finally got one in hand now, D, to make some judgments on this bit-of-an-oddfellow. The larger figures certainly leave something to be desired versus the classic scale ones, but then, for the right price, he can probably be some easy action figure fodder or ripe for some outdoor display or adventures.
