John, a lot of great stuff there. I wish I had pre-ordered that J Bug and Psycho Tank. Such weird fun figures.
The black hair is pretty fantastic. Had a buddy of mine bring them to my attention, but I'm unfortunately saving at the moment. I can say I'm content with my first release Golem for the time being! But it's still pretty awesome to see new Lowbrow Golem come out for collectors.
@AgentRavage Both the Bumpy and Bald Golems have pointy teeth, but I’d be more than welcoming of both! More than that, I’d love to see Target Earth Gate Guard make a comeback. Even more than that, though, I’d wish a clean bill of health for Sato - San.
I am sending an inquiry to Mr. Sato and will ask, if we can, at this time do additional orders for Gategaurd; since he previously mentioned that subcontractor help with some of his works. I will post the results, I know there are at least 10 unreleased sculpts as well as versions mentioned but not yet appear in public. I hope clear Kusogon and painted versions of the 2012 exclusives Mr. Sato took the time to prepare for Purple Faceless Bull and Black Kusogon. These never had painted releases. As talented as he is as a sculptor, he is so gifted as a painter. I was thrilled to see those AA exclusives. Another board member and a few folks not on SB had additional questions for TE, also I am going to try and ask if more works including Plague Dr. the very odd Dream Intruder: This Man, Pazuzu, Baphomet, Poison Ape, other additional dolls may still be made. I will also ask about Parabola A, Machine Gorilla and Version 2 of that and Marilla, plus the sculpt that I commissioned based on a weird alien from Pulp Era books, that doll is called Planet Phantom. As for Golem dolls....... Full set on Glow would be excellent! Here are some questions from other folks: - Both the Zagora and Mighty had unpainted releases in light lavender vinyl. I recall these were released fairly early on, but cannot remember the dates/release method. Does Mr. Sato recall? - Supposedly, there were 10 pieces of an 'Albino Zagora' that were given out around August 2008 as lottery prizes (to persons who placed mail orders for figures around that time). I don't think I've ever seen one in a photo, were they were actually distributed? - How was the painted clear Smogon 2 made available, how many were made? -Was Smogon 2 on black only sample of actually released, if so details? - Will you consider the release of other version Bagun and TE original Zagora that prototype samples were shown? - Will you publish a memoir of your experience within the scope of work and influence? - What is your personal favorite sculpt or that gave the most satisfaction? - What characters were a challenge to produce in clay mould and were some difficult to do in metal? - Will you make more releases of HEDORAN or any other of the Hukkokudo species from the reproduction line? - Multiple questions about Sovfi Life -Multiple questions of Vinyl Paradise If anyone here would like me to ask any other question to Mr. Sato please pm and I will definitely try to make it into my communication with him. As Robert and others mention, his health is and will always be the very pinnacle of importance.
@AgentRavage Bumpy! I finally just got one of these in the mail recently! But I do agree, it’s be wonderful to see more. It’s a great sculpt and the size is killer. I’d love to see more of Sato - San’s paint apps bring it to life.
Some Lowbrow Golem action - tried to smuggle it onto the shelves at the last SVM show but security was too tight View this post on Instagram
