Picked this awesome series of original ink panels featuring Chiron and Hercules at a yard sale this weekend. My google searching has come up negative as to what comic it's from and who did it yet it feels like I've seen it before. It very well could be a school project (quite a good one!) but unclear. Opened the frame and there was nothing on the back. Anyone here have any insight? Appreciate it in advance!

What a great find! Congrats on picking up some beautiful art there, Kerk. Really lovely lines and inking. The snakes and pillars are incredible but the first panel wins it for me. I hope you can track down some history on it, but even without it will be an amazing piece to display ( and the mystery is cool in and of itself).
My first association in looking at these is Michael Kupperman. The lettering is more stylized than his usual way, but the drawings look a lot like his work. Maybe you found a super-early, non-comedic project of his?
My first thought too, Mitch, haha! Kuperman does love his Hercules... and snakes... He had a run of Hercules gags way back in the Thrizzle days, and has done plenty of bio stuff, too, but I've never seen the lovely art from the yard sale before. The hunt continues.
Possibly early work from the 'Age of Bronze' series by Eric Shanower. I haven't read them, I think my bruv has a few, looks kinda similar. Kinda.
^ Nah, Shanower is a word balloon guy, and he veers much more towards a Mad magazine realism, if that makes sense.
