In order to maintain a sense of moderator transparency, here is an update on the situation. Several mods have been in communication with Glenn and we all believe it is too soon to lift the ban that has been implemented. In these discussions there have been signs of a lack of understanding why he was banned, and that if the ban was lifted he would continue to do similar actions as before. There also seems to be a lack of respect for the community and moderators. We understand that many of the comments were made out of frustration and are hoping that time will be in his favor. In regards to everyone, all of your comments on the situation are greatly appreciated. SB is full of opinions and this is 1 of the best parts of SB. We too see that Glenn is an active member of the board and toy community, and this honestly kept him from being banned earlier. We are fine with open and heated discussion of most forms, but personal attacks will not be tolerated. They are not toy related and should be handled privately, or if you don't like confrontation, report them.
. . . after being provoked and antagonised about a non existent issue with his work! Still curious WTF that was all about!
Everyone at some point has the option to use the "Ignore" button. In doing so, you block and can't see peoples post. A lot of people attack people or have words on occasion but if you persist...things like this might happen.
My bad! . . . although that frustration could be down to which moderator was trying to school him and if he feels a bias was shown in the immediate aftermath. With great power comes great responsibility. It's nice and quiet again now though! Now . . . where's my dragon!
He's Australian, he cant help being offensive. He's got an uphill battle against a national stereotype.
I would’ve thought crocodile Dundee, or the crocodile hunter for the prevailing Australian stereotype... something with crocodiles at least. (Just kidding aussies. I love you. And I legitimately don’t know who that photo is)
Dude, i don't know if you're joking but it's Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee himself). Thats not a knife, THIS is a knife.
You gotta let your sense of humor hang out around these parts a bit more, man! I know you’re a moderator and all....but a good dick joke is a good dick joke, namsayin?
