    "Hey, Bear."
    "Mm?"
"Once this last one's done, what'll you do?"
    "What?"
"You know man, what's your plan?"
"Never much had one. City makes me nervous, sometimes I want to throw it all out and go back to the woods."
    "Sounds peaceful."
"Then I remember a little more and decide I've seen enough woods for a lifetime. Screw it all. You?"
"Remember that room we used to go after the shows, get good and drunk before we had to do it all again? White Rabbit? I'm gonna start a place like that, low-key but a little classy, dreamy. Dark wood bar, Bootsy Collins on the speakers."
"Huh. You think you could fit Johnny Cash in there too?"
    "There's a thought."

Latest lotto has been drawn. Congrats to the winners. Another Moondog. I don’t know what Utsugiyo’s M.O. is. Some sculpts released in the past I assumed were retired due to time. Hopefully there’ll be more releases of previous sculpts collectors missed out on.

    Grats to winners!

Personally I'd love to see a new sculpt for the 2020 release, but if we are talking about previously released sculpts, Dogura is one of my favorite toys of all time.

This one's a looker. Putting it in a spoiler tag for now so people who have it coming can enjoy it fresh, if they so choose. Utterly bonkers, wild, head-spinning kind of paint. There's too much going on for my phone camera to get it all, especially at night, but all that metallic paint and glitter is so well blended and layered that it doesn't look at all out of place. Anyway, here's my cover shot for the new Moonpooch.

Beautiful. How big is this compared to other toys?

About 3.5" tall from the feet to the top of the head, 6" from the front of the head to the tail. You can see it's not actually much shorter at the head than Dehara's Tosa Kenta, but the form is a lot more slight. If not for that paint you could stick it in a jacket pocket pretty easily.

Wow, looks great. Jealous. I've been in a bit of a dry spell for toy lotteries. Hopefully that changes soon.

@taviq I hope one skates your way at a reasonable price. The run size on them was pretty huge (63), and at least a few have landed with western collectors, which should make it easier.

@phantomfauna I felt the whole underside of the toy is kind of its own thing, with the pearl vinyl bordered by the purple paint of the body, the rainbow tail sprays and a gold dick in the middle of it  almost a different palette to the rest of the toy.

Popped off the dog's head and found a surprise. Spoiler tag to keep it intact for anyone who wants to give it a shot. Shout out Mark Chou (toytrex412 on Instagram) for pointing me to this.

For the record, it's actually very easy to get the head back on without damage if you're careful. The design of the joint prevents the head from touching the rough surface of the body and rubbing paint, on top of giving Moondog a more seamless look.

Would have never guess the vinyl color. Makes me wonder if he has 100 of them pulled and just slowly leaking them out with different releases over time.

I like that theory. But I think you can make out the plain white vinyl on the belly and bottoms of the feet, under a coat of glitter. I did think he was using a pearl base, and not a plain white, though. Assume those areas are different on other releases, unless he's just painted all that to give the impression of a different base. 4D chess!

So the glitter was sprinkled on the vinyl and clear coated on? The flakes look way to large to be part of the paint itself (with this having a white vinyl base).. you should try rubbing it on carpet really fast over and over again to see if the glitter comes off! ;)

Don't know that we have photos of these two together, now that JP's shots on page 3 aren't working. Gebu & Gieyo, third release of each.

I always can tell when one of these “sought after” makers has a new thing coming up. Not because Of their insta, but of all the sale2meBros that start flooding with random toy pics and lots of tags. Quite useful

I once won a lottery for one these toys and figured I had misread the price as one zero less so told them I was passing this time, with the PayPal invoice in mail. Lol. Been happily blacklisted since.

Utsugiyo hasn't sold a toy in two years. Do you really hate the people for trying to play the social media game? This is just how it works now. I can't blame them, and I'm guilty of doing same thing. My Golden Dogura is one of (if not my favorite) toy that I own.
Also, it's a three figure set with a base. Is the price high? Of course. But, you're talking about art here. I don't blame the artist for wanting to get the price that they think their art is worth. I'd rather the money go directly to the artist than to a reseller, at least.

Yeah, following instructions is one thing. I don’t think @gatiio was referring to that aspect of "the social media game." Rather (most probably), those who repeatedly spam and beg for things at the sight of a mere teaser. Some people act like a new toy they didn’t know about yesterday—or at times haven't even seen a clear picture of—is the one they’ve been looking for all along that will finally fill their god hole... it's a bit pathetic. I've won plenty of lotteries with virtually no reposting whatsoever aside from a few times at the explicit request of the host. In other words, one doesn't have to be so obsequious to get these things. If that's how "the game" had to be played I'd just stick to open runs.

The price is over the top for me, but it is a killer looking little set. Good luck to anyone who's throwing their hat in the ring.

I really didn’t even look at the details. Good on them for Shigging the coin out of their art and their collector base. I Don’t even care much tbh. It’s art alright, just not the kind of art I like. It’s also blown up in the past few years so the price makes some sense in this speculation around plastic dollies

I don’t hate the sale2meBros , like I said, I enjoy being reminded that probably something is up when y’all’s thirst traps go up so gung-ho to cop that latest release that is worth all the Jordans. We all end up seeing the same hype makers with the same collectors, so there’s that. I follow them because some collections are really nice that’s the nice part about being loaded.

But to my original intent, I find it hilarious that for every RFSO toy nerd posting there’s ten Jonnydungens jumping on the flavor of the month wagon. THAT is why I hark on it and find it fun to point it. #prayhands

looking at the set, it’s killer and all the luck to anyone that enters and gets it. Should make for a nice center piece in a collection and a few months of insta stories and reels.

That is some expensive vinyl there...
But on the other hand, at least, it has been painted, not like the clear Bemon

I think you’re looking at flipped prices. Bemon’s stuff at cost is easily a $1000 less.
