Had a look for Algangu threads and couldn't find one specific to this maker. In fact, I've not had much luck finding a lot of information on the web. Even their social media presence is quite small. Therefore, apologies in advance if I'm mistaken in my assumptions regarding both maker and the piece shown below - what I have is patched together from snippets of info, found in various locations.

I stumbled across this piece last year (on eBay) and I believe it was originally sold in 2016 (painted) and late 2015 as a blank.

My understanding is that it is called Cat Assassin but I have also seen him called Killer Cat (but this is possibly due to translation) and he is from the The Wonderful World of Puss n' Boots by Toei Animation (1969).

New he was sold for circa 3,500 yen and it looks like he was launched at Volks Hobby Event May 2016 in Tokyo.

Not an expensive figure, nor one from a maker I know anything about, but it has a lot of presence and, perhaps more importantly, puts a smile on my face when I look at him; to me it has the perfect mix of fun, quirkiness and charm.

Super nice artist/creator and the vinyl is quality. I'll try to pull some pics I had.

That would be great; other than their Instagram feed, which is quite sparse, I could find little else.
