Finally have a CAST toy in my collection! I’ll work on a black light photo soon

 

After a lengthy chunk of time, the Semi Korosiya has been found in depths of molds, and resurrected, by our own residential toy maker, @Omnihiro. Since then, Adam Cop A Squat has come back swingin’ with this most recent release. Royal blue vinyl base, with teal/silver sprays, and yellow accents! I’m very happy to see this toy make a comeback. Easily one of the best originally designed and sculpted toys in the “neo” era of collecting. Feels very traditional(or what I know of to be traditional), with modern characteristics and paints. And, of course, we cannot let Adam’s headers, and often times, his general packaging go unnoticed. Screen printed header cards, hand cut with an exacto blade and scored! Great to see the Semi back, Adam!

And this one off is just amazing. Circulatory system guts and pipe cleaners in the arms(Astro Mu style), though I don’t think it can be seen all too well with the majority black. I haven’t photographed this since the new setup, so with the new release it just felt appropriate!

The day has finally come, the last release of the Semi Korosiya.

 

All of your releases have looked really neat. Why is this the last release?

 

CAST had a pretty gnarly shop drop this morning. Tried to get my hands on that black Semi a couple of times, but it didn’t work out. A buddy of mine picked it up, so I’ll at least get to see it in person.

 

Love these. Scored my second Sekijun today.

 

@smiles82 That’s awesome, congrats! Was hopin’ to add a 14th Semi to the mix myself. Still gotta grab a Sekijun at some point, also. That blue version is definitely my favorite of the bunches.

Just to maybe get a bit more appreciation goin’ on here, especially after Adam *sold out* of his Creature Bazaar exclusives online. Hoping I can find another black blank down the road to have painted, though I might just sacrifice this one. Maybe not. It was the first offered blank. We’ll see.



These two are customs painted by @ thedevilskaiju(on Instagram) in 2013 and 2014.

These are funny. Would be fun to see one painted up like an Ark diecast.
