Why have they all been shot?!? :? It's like the maker is suggesting they are so shitty you should be taking them to the gun range and using them for target practice :lol::lol:

This thread is killing me with laughter and burning my fucking eyes!
I’mma keep my mouth shut but I’ve seen a lot of these all over IG...there’s some artists on the thread I’ve genuinely liked/enjoyed their work but not a fan of their choices in customization at all.

Custom toy head by artist YuanXingShi. I don't understand all the 'Chinazi' shit. Why do the Chinese and other Asian countries have this obsession with Hitler?

I don't care how well its made, and how many people love this thing on FB, this fugly lump of nazi shit can fuck right off ...

Controversial answer but it could be due to having those uyghur oops I mean 're-education' camps always in the back of their minds and for some in the back of their backyards. It's lame ass shit and really it's glorification at this point.. they obviously don't feel any offense by Hitlers history.

I would have put the tube going from his asshole to his mouth instead.

I know it’s not a popular opinion here, but I enjoy most of Lionchen’s work. His stuff is a little darker and he definitely has a unique style. I welcome him to “ruin” more toys.

I like Lionchen as well. To your point, many people dislike "gross" toys, but there is a place for them in the more macabre parts of the scene.

I am just sick of the damn Trump toys.

After reading your response and @MiscreationToys i went ahead and checked out Lionchen... it’s definitely not for me. Too glossy, too overdone. His stuff looks like he discovered “kaiju” that year when “dead presidents” and his “monster kolor” paint was popular and he never learned any better. It all looks candy coated and busy.

Maybe I'm nitpicking, but I stand by my statement that even classics can be ugly. I just don't like these new clear Hedo colorways from Bullmark. There's a guy on Insta that does clear Hedo customs, and I can't tell them apart from the official releases, at this point.

Maybe, since the dawn of the internet, it’s all the years of horrible things that are readily viewable on a computer, violent video games etc, that have desensitized and filled these newer generations with so much that they regurgitate it all in their expression, and identify with things like these toys that are regurgitations of it all at once. Maybe Hitler & such other hateful characters aren’t the horrible disgusting things to the new kids/artists that they are to us older folks with memories that reach further back. Maybe they see them as just more extreme violent monsters to be entertained by. To most of us that grew up without the internet, real life tragedy was scary and make believe horror was just make believe.
In aesthetics in general, “cool” used to be defined by restraint and an illusion of effortlessness. Now all-around excess seems to be the thing. Hence these toys... ?

For the hedos, I like the first one, the fourth one is just ugly imo. The first reminds me of Nerunerunerune candy colors.

Yes, it does. I think it starts with trying to stand out from the crowd, and then it slides into tastelessness.

The new clear hedo's with these whacky colours seems like the maker trying to appeal to current trends for sure. Gargamel did a similar run on clear a while back as well, with similar results. They just look like some little kid was let loose on 'em with poster paints to me ...

Possibly mostly known in recent years for his fugly burnt-turds and fugly split-head burnt-turds with fluorescent doll hair, Frank Mysterio has a new toy. The Aztec 'Coatlicue' - and I reckon its pretty cool. What do you lot think?

I view it as a welcome return to what he does best, melding traditional art and artifacts into designer plastic.

Not sure about that pre-yellowed 'clear' plastic though, looks kinda murky. :?

I kinda like it. It’s clean, it’s wacky, it’s not something I’ve seen before, it’s detailed. I don’t think I’d buy one, but it’s refreshing to see something that doesn’t look like a pile of ground beef.

Return to form is correct, pretty cool. Maybe it was pulled in a Mexican factory, has a stink to it at first.

    I got it!
It speaks to the Latino in me and I think it’ll look great in the house. Even though his work def did get wacky there for a while, I dug his clean, graffiti inspired aesthetic from a few years back.
ps~ I got the white one.
