Did anyone pick up the keshi toys that he released at 5 Point Festival? I'd definitely love to see some pics of them in the wild!

I snagged a handful, my kids stole some of them though. You wanting to see anything specific on them or just more photos in general?

I like this "Frankenstein" toy, but the smiling head just reminds me of Alfred E. Neuman(MAD magazine).

The proportions are fun, sculpt is great, and overall a fun toy.

Anyone here pick up their Redman Garamon? Very interested to hear your review, if so...

I haven't yet! Been trying to keep my priorities in check since the pandemic but I saw it on Instagram and love what I see! I never get tired of his take on certain toys. :)

    The real question is:

What do you think of their Redman Garamon, GaraMike?

    Obligatory late-to-the-party Baltie comment:

    ^That omake... <chef's kiss>

I actually like it, Deebansis. I think it's a great, fun, demonic take on the source material. I wish they had found a way to make the head turnable, but they prioritized sculpt over articulation. I favor the green version.

I'd go green, too, if'n I were gonna go...

My issue, and maybe it's just my wallet speaking, is that M1 and Marmit, etc, can keep churning out licensed genius in the 5-7K range, and these out-of-the-gate kids step in with lesser art - my eyes speaking - at a buck twenty.

^Heard. And yet, in regard to the "lesser art" critique (the pricing thing is a morass I don't feature getting into today), I really feel like they have done some impressive stuff, of late. I'm not a Baltan collector, but I think that Baltan is very well-done, and each of the color versions they released are nice and tidy/tasty/respectful. A different gen'l aesthetic than Marmit or M1 or any of the other long-timer in the licensed Ultra-kaiju game, for sure.

id be curious to know about licensing fees nowadays vs longstanding relationships with Marmit and M1 , and if that had to be factored into anything

Anyone see that new super joyable collection? I’ve always been a fan of super deformed figures.
