As if we weren't already... But even more now and worse for American women, Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed. Such a loss for this country, for the world quite frankly, but especially women I think my wife is going to divorce me now. I was explicitly told not to ever speak her name again as the last time I did, she (RGB) got sick, literally a day or two later. Last weekend while having some socially distant cocktails with friends I accidentally spoke her name... Fuck
Welp. we all know this was coming. RIP RBG. I'm sure there will be plenty of shit to be angry about tomorrow. Here comes more "Nyah nyah!"
She’s more than earned her rest for all she’s stood for, fought for, and accomplished. Major, major loss.
A really sad loss for the country. I would hope some time will be set aside before politics takes over, but I doubt that will happen.
She's an individual who truly changed the world. I hope her family finds peace in knowing how well respected and admired she was. The world is a worse place for her departure. Fuck.
So saddened, what an unbelievable loss. She was such a fiery lady, learned so much about her in college. Seeing a lot of people my age (younger x-kids and millennials) are devastated across the board and, really freaked out. Very worried about who will take the seat and how her final wishes are probably going to be disrespected.
Devastating news. She inspires so many of us to have faith in the judicial system. that Moscow Mitch and the gop have decided to pull their usually bs after her passing with her nominee is an even bigger hurt to the shambles the American state is in We will be having drinks in her memory for the rest of the year
A tragic loss. She’s left behind such an incredible and important legacy, one that makes me actually proud to be an American. The stakes for this election only seem to be getting higher with each passing day. The need and importance to get our friends and colleagues to vote cannot be stressed enough!! We need to protect the freedoms RBG has given the women in our lives and across this country.
