The belt needs to be down to the knees at least! Miss the days of Dickies and Ben Davis.

@J.Nilszechuan Dickies, Ben Davis and Nike Cortez. The uniform of my childhood. Still keepin’ the Cortez’s on my feet, though!

Headlock x Justin Ishmael was just announced today with Justin’s obsession with The Great Garloo! This should be a super fun take on Knuckle’s aesthetic and sculpting style. With Garloo bein’ a licensed character, I’m wondering if availability will be generally wider like the Famous Monsters Galligantus.

How interesting. I just heard an older Howard Stern show where Robin gifted Howard one of the original toys.

I'll have to keep an eye on this one.

Very interested to see the Garloo! Pretty exciting tease...

As well, fingers crossed I'll have some 2021 lottery luck with Wolf Teeth... (and a release in an undead blue, green or grey skintone would be fantastic...)

Marx is long deceased but according to Wiki:

In 2019, Jay Horowitz of American Classic Toys, and current rights holder of the Marx brands, entered into an exclusive license agreement with The Juna Group to represent the Marx brands in all categories outside of toys and playthings, worldwide.

I can’t wait to see what the full sculpt of Garloo looks like! No doubt it will look great in Knuckle’s style. I know there aren’t any details or even hints around a release but I’m also hopeful that this Bride of Frankenstein concept gets produced.

That bride would make a great addition to the lineup

We’ll see how cute the great garloo gets probably a stunner as always

@Roger with a great question and @Mr Fox eitj a fantastic answer! Thank you both for that! I’m definitely curious to see how this rendition reveals itself to be. The ‘61 giant robot is one I've always wanted to see in hand, but have yet to this day. Given Justin’s, Ken and Knuckle’s appreciation for much of American vintage pop culture, and Ken/Knuckle’s attention to detail I’m sure this’ll be a fantastic release. The Bride cards I’ve received a couple times in packages are for sure peaking my interest! That’s another that I’m insanely curious to see the execution of!

Marx have some excellent reference points and along with Garloo, I can imagine Ken and Knuckle taking inspiration from both Big Loo and the Nutty Mads line up. If you haven’t seen them, they are worth checking out. Along with the Hootin Hollow (Haunted House) and Spooky Kooky Tree (both tin toys), they seem to have quite a cult following in Japan and, as you suggested, the appreciation for Western/Euro culture is not dissimilar to ours of Japanese.

Whatever they do, it seems to come out great and the small car inserts are always a treat to see because they do seem to hint at up coming projects. The Bride would be a great addition!

Wolf Teeth is simply bad ass and awesome. New eyes/eyebrows, teeth, the hair and beard that all flows and ties together, the wolfy - like tips of the hair, despite the already displayed pointed ears. I gotta say, though. Of all the amazing details on this biker beast my favorite, hands down(ha ha), are the furry tops of the hands and fingernails. It’s one of those little details that makes a big difference. I’m excited to see what versions of Wolf Teeth we’ll see in the future. I’d like to see a Thriller color way with the red jacket and some green skin tones. And as @ungawa222 mentioned, as well as @kid_miracleman outside of the forum, a grey tone would be killer for the Universal film vibe.

Mini Ken Kun is just so great and fun. Ken turning himself into a toy is the ultimate mascot for a toy company, and it perfectly represents him. This is one I wouldn’t mind not seeing as much, since I’d like to think Ken wants this one to be a bit more of a special placeholder in his productions.

Bravo as always, Robert... as usual, any time you post pics of a toy I'm interested in, it fires me up about it all the more...

Thank you, Mike!!! It’s always such a high, high compliment to me if a photo can invoke wanting a toy/wanting it even more to someone! There’s definitely plenty of shots on this board that have pushed me to getting something new that I otherwise wouldn’t have, had it not been for someone’s contribution here! :o

Robert, doing a lot of justice to that sculpt! Thanks for sharing your work. That boiwolf is super nice!

I also really like the mascot Ken. If I had a pick of the headlock toys, it would def be that one.

Yes, thank you Robert for making the wait a little harder

I just paid the duty bill for my Wolf Teeth on Friday and delivery is scheduled for tomorrow; seeing those photos didn’t make the wait any easier. Since Ken dropped the first hint of the Teen-Biker-Wolverine-Wolf I have been looking forward to seeing the finished result and based on all the photos, especially @xSuicide Squadx ,’s, it has been worth the wait!

For consistency of design, quality and appeal, Headlock are knocking it consistently out of the park and whilst I love variety in my collection, it is hard to ignore any of their releases.

PS - not sure if it was intentional but I love the way it looks like Tibeo is wearing a festive bobble hat because of the way you framed the tree (with star topper) behind him. Superb festive toy photography.

@gatiio Thank so much! Knuckle’s sculpt certainly speaks for itself, but I’m always overjoyed to have amplified the voice in a small way! The Ken Kun does carry something a bit more personable, as he’s the overall representation. With the first Ken Kun having “Stoke!” on his sweater, and this new mini with “Weird!” on his, I’m wondering if we’ll see a third Ken Kun displaying “Crazy!” The trifecta of exclamations on the Kustom Monsters header!

@Mr Fox I very much appreciate the kind words! I’m glad to hear you came up on the lotto and are currently awaiting shipment to arrive!!! :o Even with my photos taken out of the equation, I can unequivocally say the wait is absolutely worth it. To your specifics of design, quality and appeal, Wolf Teeth lives up to all three and then some! And I’d have to agree that the consistency across the board from Headlock has been fantastic. Hard to ignore is an understatement!

As to your inquiry about the intention in the Tibeo photo, I would have never noticed or picked up on that at all, had you not mentioned it! It was a giant, lit up tree that I just wanted centered in the background! Having it pointed out now, though, I can totally see it and it’s a tad more festive! This is one of my favorite shots I’ve taken to date, so I do thoroughly appreciate such compliments.

The first time I saw the photo, I immediately saw 'it' and I assumed it was either serendipity or you'd planned it.

Saying that, there is a third option; it could be that viewing this photo is akin to a Rorschach test and my desire to see him wearing a pointy festive party hat may denote the way I view the world and wanting to celebrate the end of 2020!

Which ever way, in my eyes, it lends a lot of charm to the photo.

Congrats dude! A full size Ken kun and Knuckle kun are the two pieces that still allude me. I really like them both! I have a mini Knuckle and I’m seriously hoping I can at least secure myself a mini Ken.

Again you killed it with these pictures! Always love seeing your photography skills at work!

Ken - San mentioned at the end of 2020 that “Business in 2021 starts in January 4th”, and he was not kidding. Full, painted reveal of “The Bride(no official name is given)” and she’s perfectly perfect! What a companion for Lil’ Franky, and a fantastic way to start the new year for Headlock!
