    it's even crazier than that...it's a 10 cent cover price...

    I think other copies have gone for way more though, so this is sort of a bargain.

    As long as this isn't a "restored" copy..I think it's pretty cool. Superman is such a part of history and American culture.
    I don't think I would shell out that kind of cash..mind you but then again...to each their own.

    My wife would freak out if she knew I spent 300 dollars on a "doll".

    i know what you mean. there is this "legend" of my grandfathers comic collection somewhere in the house, and all of my aunts and uncles have searched everywhere for it. the theory is that my one crackhead uncle stole it and sold it many many years back, to buy crack i assume.
