I don't collect them, but I have a couple and think they're great. I would love to see a montage of the different feet. That's what makes them so special for me.
i really dont know how many of the king zaurus line i have . mostly i picked them up in japan as they were cheap eye candy . smogy is really outstanding .
Here is the only one I have. I think its name is Abdorahurs or something like that. Would like to get more from this Popy line eventually. Nice pics above, guys. I especially like the Gabora.
That Taigon statue is made by Chikyu-boueigun honbu and is about 6 1/2 inches tall. This company made a few Mirrorman and Silver Kamen kaiju that look fantastic. Here's a pic of the three that I have, from l to r: Taigon, Kirugisu Seijin and Blackgon. I believe several more of these statues of different kaiju are in the works.
my Popy King Zaurus with some Yamakastu and a few others. Sorry for the dark pix. My favorites. Anybody have have any of the other Lotte Chocolate premiums clear colored vinyl versions? Is ther a Baltan Seijin mini?
Great pics! Isn't it interesting how the crudeness of the Popy vinyls is a different style of crudeness than Marusan/Bullmark stuff?
those are very cool mark . i always forget that popy made the minis . the clears are incredable but the price premium always kept me away . mike j has a clear that i had not seen before nor is it in the popy arrow book .
I have been gradually adding a couple of these guys to my collection here and there. I really love them. Sure maybe the sculpting is rough, but I really love the soft rubbery vinyl, and many of them have excellent paint applications. I think they really appeal to me because they remind me of dinosaurs I had as a kid (e.g. Imperial). Here are a few recent additions:
They can vary quite a bit depending on the figure, but most fall between 5-6", maybe just a bit smaller on average than the old Bandai figures.
Thanks ultra, on skullbrain I'm learning a lot, and a lot of collectors here are also good photographers

Wow Coop, superb shots as always, and sweet collection. Not much else to say, when you bring it like that . I'm glad there are some other Popy fans out there. I really love some of the subtle paint application on a lot of these guys, the blue on that King Joe for instance.
I have a few myself, I really love these so much. The Gamakujira is awesome! But I think my favorite is the Gyango.
Welcomed a new friend into the home today: Also thought I would post some shots of these guys I picked up recently. They are re-issued versions of the King Zaurus line from 2003, which until I saw them, I didn't even know they did. The Garamon in particular is a favourite of mine from the OG line, probably one of my top favourite Gara sculpts alongside the Nostalgic Heroes version. With bags/headers Loose, and ready for play
