    Sorry guys, didn't mean to set this off with my offhand comment, but the mood has much improved of which I am glad.

    I don't mean to take away from what is a worthwhile discussion though. On to the 237 thread for more truther/Kubrickian and general lizard people postulates.

    Yea, I love you guys and what this thread has become. Having watched Room 237 at least three times, I enjoyed reading the discussion.

    My girl and I are currently on a Tang + Pinnacle tropical punch vodka kick. Though it's not as good as our other concoction -- "The Sunny [sic] and Cher," which is of course Sunny D with strawberry Smirnoff. I'm a girl drink drunk, what can I say.

    Documentaries and booze, two things I hold very dear.

    Back when I scraping by living in Brooklyn we use to make what I called 'Tang Drivers' which was essentially just Tang and Vodka. Cheap substitute to OJ which can be pricey. No one really liked the drink but me and 3 friends. I guess you really have to like the taste of Tang (and be able to find it- sometimes it's hard!). Your concoction sounds good though.

    ^^a friend of mine in college used to buy Laser 40oz's for $1.25 (possibly the worst beer ever) and drink a 1/4 of it and then fill it back to the top with OJ and then drink the rest. just awful :lol:

    Ugh...you guys can keep your freshman-style concoctions. ;) I only like a few classic cocktails, other than that I drink liquor neat, or on the rocks after a long day of work outside.

    Oh hell, maybe I'll give Evan and blueberry juice a go...that sounds just bizarre enough to be good. :D

    Well your last name is Beverage. Hendricks is still my go to choice for drinks (I keep a liter on hand for the summer always). Despite its lovely taste I've become slightly bored with Gin & Tonic, and would like to come up with another concoction using Hendricks. Oh and the Speakeasy Show with Paul F Tompkins makes me want to drink always :lol: :

    Gin and tonic? Check. But yes you are correct, the classics get boring and there is a whole world of deliciousness waiting for me out there. A friend made me a Sazerac for the first time last week, whoah mama. And Sazerac Rye is delicious straight.

    Okay, this is officially the second thread in as many days derailed by talks of liquor. Skullbrain may indeed be drunk, but I am liking what it says about us. :) If we ever had a board con/get together with all of us misanthropes and booze I think that would be nothing but a good time.     I've recently had the pleasure of enjoying my first Ron Collins. Which once again reminded me that there's a whole nother world of dangerous things out there that want to consume your money besides toys. A dear friend of mine regularly spends the monetary equivalent of a mid-/standard-sized fig on a bottle of fine booze...

    Thanks for the Boosh, MC!

    Took me the longest time to warm to G&Ts. See, when I was little this old pepper-pot of a man at a family party decided it would be funny to pour me a glass of diet tonic water in place of the Sprite that I'd requested. I didn't think my seven-year-old tongue would ever recover!

    Never had one, but a Moon River sounds like it would make for a good girl drink drunk.

    Anyone here love Mancini like I do?

    I am guilty on that charge as well, though not a regular basis, and rarely anymore. Didn't take me long to realize that you have nothing to show after that pricey bottle is gone, except for diminished cognitive function.
