I'd wear them a few times. I have my everyday sneakers and my occasional sneakers (just 4 pairs) I keep in their boxes. I wear them a couple times a year.

Man I somehow missed that Badge Head t-shirt he did for RVCA and can't find one anywhere. The Red t-shirt is the only US version. RVCA is absolutely useless in the help dept. (the email replies are so generic and unhelpful). I've seen a ton of variations of it in Japanese shops but they're all sold out as well. Really want this! Anyone know where I can find one of these in Medium or Large?:

This is cool also but can't find it in the US, why do they give the US stores all the crap with just RVCA all over it and no artwork and the cool shit gets sent abroad (I asked this of RVCA as well- no response)

Funny you say that - seems like we are stuck with shithouse RVCA designs here in Australia as well. It's like the Artist Network Program doesn't even exist anymore.. We have nothing but shirts with crazy huge neck holes and tank tops with the RVCA logo on there.

That last Barry McGee shirt was an old one from 2003 or so? If they have re-released it I'll need to hunt down a replacement. One of my all time favourite t-shirts to wear around town!

Ditto in the US. My entire fucking life I've had to shop in the UK (Europe) or Japan, seemingly the only two places on the planet that get cool things. Why is that? Here in the US they water everything down to non risk design, aka just logos or something dumb like skulls- we don't want to freak anyone out! Either that or it's over design where more is less. It's ridiculous. Biggest buncha plain janes on the planet! I blame the public having zero fashion sense.

I got the 3d Indian head from 2K 7 years ago, Larceny from SFMOMA, and the 2K yellow one with the odd drawing of Mcgee as a kid. They're all pretty worn out so I've spent the last few weeks searching for new tees by him and found all these cool versions but all sold out and Japan only. RVCA was pretty lame when I contacted them. I even said in my email that they would probably give me a generic answer saying "It's sold out and there is no plan to restock it" They did exactly that! Then I replied saying "How come Japan gets 8 versions of this shirt?" To which he just replied the design and art team makes those decisions. Sucky decisions if you ask me...

New Barry items are available from RVCA outlets now - shirts, caps, towels.. even a wetsuit. Some nice larger t-shirt prints are in some stores and not in others.. gotta do a little hunting around. Picked up a cap and this t-shirt with a pocket print.

TWIST is a legend. His perspective on the world around us has always been refreshing as most things get watered down. He's always had unique installations.

This was the first skateboard I ever bought, from PD's Hot Shop in 1992! been looking for it again for a while, loved the graphic.

I picked up the crowd t-shirt from the last batch over the winter (or was it fall? can't remember) He's got a new t-shirt called Barry 2 on RVCA:

    https://www.rvca.com/shop/product/mens-t-shirts/barry-2-1?color=ANW

Unfortunately even though I saw them right away the white medium was sold out and that part of my order was cancelled. Managed to get the red and just ordered the blue one in medium. What did they make 40 mediums in each color lol? Seems weird that medium would sell out but I guess that's the perfect size. Been looking for another tee with just one of his giant faces for a long time so I'm glad RVCA finally did another.

    Damn fucking right he is!!
Those TWISTO throws from the late 80s/early 90s are bonkers.. So fucking clean!

Found out about this dude from the artwork he did on an old Lookout Records compilation I had from the early 90s.. I wanna say it was the inside artwork for "The Thing That Ate Floyd" compilation. Does anyone have it? Can anyone verify??

AFAIK TWIST did the art. 1988 comp that's a real time capsule with Op Ivy, Crimp, Isocracy, NUFAN, Neurosis, etc.

I appreciate the tip! I've never bought from Uniqlo before and am curious to see how they fit my disgusting tick-body.

I got the diagonal offset stripey pattern shirt. I wish they had done up a shirt like a Madras patchwork, but instead with his patterns. It would be damn obnoxious, but fun.

Nice @blakewest - as far as I can tell, uniqlo have a few different cut patterns for their t-shirts. Whereas the Kaws shirts were ill-fitting, thin fabric with plastic feeling prints - these Barry McGee shirts are thick and feel like Gildan, the prints are thin/soft screenprint style.

I bought mine from Uniqlo Japan and thankfully the L size (i'm normally Medium) fit great - they even have a bit of length at the bottom of the shirt which is unusual as a lot of japanese t-shirts are quite short and boxy.

A lot of artists seem to get a second swing through Uniqlo so maybe fingers crossed they go for the crazy salon-style patterns next time. Overall it's a pretty great collection - I ended up grabbing two of everything. One set to wear for ten years and another set for the next decade ;)
