i might not be able to go.
i might start a math intervention class for the kids from 9-12 on saturdays

 

awesome. what does a math intervention look like? bringing in the offender with his family and yelling multiplication tables? i like it.

Er, not that I have anything to trade, but it should be fun to watch you hard-hitting 'ballers duking it out.

 

I just found out I'll be making it to the Trade Fest next Saturday and works out well cause I can make the Skinner/Martin Show as well.......begged to start our vaca on Sunday

 

if only it was that easy.

although, they are having me go to the kids house and picking them up if they don't show.
my school means business.

Being fairly new to BASK Tradefest, can someone please tell me:

1) if it's ok to bring stuff just to give away (got a lot of little "junkie" small stuff from JYA lot auctions, that are begging for new homes), and to label stuff for possible sales?

2) Probably a "girlie" request here, but can we ask people to wear a tag with their board names? I always feel a little lost, because I don't know who everyone is. It would be nice to link all the cussing that goes on, with a face

Mr. Humphreys, these things have never been all that formal, and frankly it's only been the past few where people have been such hard-hitters with the big guns and all. I gave some toys away at the first couple of BASK swap meets 'cause I knew the people who received them would have fun painting them. In return they did some nice things for me even though I didn't expect it. I seriously doubt if anyone would reject your generosity, but don't sell yourself too short! Those little YJA goodies might actually be tradable!

I like your name tag suggestion. Anyone else care to comment?

Name tags are good. If not, we'll try to introduce you to the other folks. I should have done that when you showed up for the other tradefest. As the kids say, that was my bad.
