Anyone else love this show? I tuned into season 1 just on the pirate premise alone and while it had its ups and downs I was interested enough to continue into season 2. This season really kicked it up a notch plot wise though and how satisfying was that finale? Now that's a finale, unlike the poorly written Walking Dead! Hope season 3 gets even better with Blackbeard.

It's quite addictive Moog. I was iffy for a little bit during Season 1 but just stick with it. Season 1 kind of introduces you to the world and there is a lot of action (oh and sex lol). The payoffs become very shocking moments in Season 2 are well worth the wait. So many subplots going on as you find real motivations for many of the characters and they are not what you expected.

I'm terrible at sticking with shows if there's something I find not quite right initially... even if I can't put my finger on it. Think the main character put me off. I'd seen him relatively recently in a heavily advertised docudrama about Michael Hutchence and I couldn't stop thinking about that. I really like the premise though

Big fan of the show. It's refreshing to see a show about pirates (and the period) that doesn't have an eye rolling Johnny Depp staggering around. Season 2 really kicked it up a notch. Really looking forward to season 3.

I could not watch season 3 for awhile once project free tv went down- but here at my sisters I watched the first two episodes on demand of season 3 and was not feeling it. Glad I tuned back into it though. Got really good, marathoned the rest of season 3 and I'm all caught up in season 4! Did not know this is the last season though? Sad such a great show. Way better than boring ass shows like Walking Dead.

^^^ From a historical perspective (and its pretty interesting that almost every character on the show had a real life counterpart) it would seem Woods Rogers wins in the end, BUT I'm hoping someone stabs that guy with a sword through the head!

At least a certain lady met her end last night and I cheered!

Yeah, i think they might stick to that. Unfortunately.

Oh i dont know, Mrs 'Keira Knightley Clone' annoyed the hell out of me for a long time but she kinda grew on me towards the end.
It was a a bit of a downer the way she died . . .

I loved Jack Rackham's expression as that treacherous Frenchy came walking across the beach towards him . . . . like, WTF?
