Yep! I'm really enjoying them and the fact that I'm able to get hold of them, well, my girlfriend is anyway. She managed to get the new one today too, but they sit happily in my cabinet: win/win!

Really hoping for a green colourway on that zombie.

    happy days!

I'm surprised that none of the usual forums are really following this. I'm hoping he releases other colours so you can mix and match bodies and heads. mint and brown would be nice. And yes, a green zombie is a must!

I just hope the release schedule stays steady, too many of these guys too quickly and don't know if i'll be able to keep up.

snagged a "zombie" one today. looks like it just has a lick out of it, but looked cool. I'm sure a lot more detail is visible in hand

got the zombie one and it's a little tacky, like it wasn't given a gloss coat at the end. Is Buff hand painting these?

That tack probably is the gloss coat. Spray can clear rarely fully cure.

i know nothing about paint, but looking at toys painted by Buffmonster, they always looks different to other painted toys. I don't know how to describe it without making it sound bad; i want to say it has a softer, more raw or slightly duller look than other toys. Not bad, just different. Maybe i'm used to seeing toys painted with monstor kolor.

When Buff painted some of my figures there was the same issue. I don't know what kind of paint he is using, probably an acrylic or cell. I don't know if it's the paint or a clear coat he uses. But if you clear coat the figure properly the tackiness will go away. Use a monster color aerosol clear can, the flat or matte can despite labeling really mimicks the feel of natural vinyl and is more like a semi-gloss.

Rainbow coloured clear Mister Melty toys have been added to his Kickstarter.. think there's just about a week left.

Pretty sweet deal at the moment.. He has reached a foil card set stretch goal for every pledge over $40. So I'm guessing you could buy a couple of single packs + the vinyl toy add-on to make your total pledge $40 and you get a free set of foil cards... Not bad!

i don't think that would work. The way i read it, you need a minimum 40 pledge level to be able to get the foil packs. The add ons don't seem to count towards it. I could be wrong.

Still, 40 bucks gets you a full set of Series 2 plus 40 foil cards! Great deal. I'm a sucker for this card series so i'm in : )

Yeah, the extras are just that, they don't count towards your total pledge. I went all In too though, got the $40 pledge with the two figures on top. The amount of extras he's added for the stretch goals have been amazing too, so glad I contributed to it.

Mr. Super Clear is the hands-down, amazing, consistent exception to this rule.
