I suppose this goes here since these are from Japan. They are made in resin my an independant artist. I love em, cute lil burger heads.
confirmed, they are vinyl "Spooky Parade is a male and female duo from Osaka who'd worked exclusively in resin. But now, they have dropped their first ever vinyl toy! The 4 inch tall BAN-BAN comes in 3 delicious colorways (Clockwise: Green, Original and Blue)" -toysrevil
The one on the left is Spooky Parade's colorway (right is Pop Soda)- and I bought one of these. Sort of a departure from my usual fare, but this reminds me of Food Fighters or the kiddie sci-fi and horror books from the 90s (Goosebumps, My Teacher Is an Alien, etc.). Nostalgic in a strange way...
Damn I would have liked to get one of these guys. Didn't even know Lulu had them up. I definitely think Spooky Parade is one of the most interesting players in the toy game.
These are worms sticking out of the bun, right? This reminds me of that story of a local burger joint which actually uses "cultured worms" as substitute for beef meat.
I don't think that I would normally like a toy like this at all. But there's something about it that really intrigues me. It's almost like a mascot character, maybe one you would see for a weird burger chain. The 'Nutty Kitchen' typeface and food tray display really give that feel as well. I dig it.
I shot off an email to the artist who's also selling these...my guess is that it'll fall into the "can't read english" category and get deleted
The header card rules. Although I do like the Phoenix Suns colorway, it doesn't look good on this fig. but yeah, that header!!
