I don't generally collect multiples of sculpts, but if there was ever a toy that warranted it, its the Charactics Matango mini. Their variation in base colors and paint applications is so varied and thoughtful. Excellent pic smo9monster! But akum6n is right, the Gezora takes the cake, if I had to pick just one. Chris, those pics you reposted from the shop are epic, definitely an instant Charactics fix.
Alas I have only the one, but I am a huge fan of the Charactics Hedorahs. There are a really great company providing an excellent fill-in between outfits like the cute US Toys and the larger more stylised figures. This is my lonely Hawaii version. Now if only I knew where his missing Tokyo brother was. Damn you postal curse!! It's the not knowing that is the worst. :'{

I think I am glad I am broke, I don't know which of those Biollantes I like the most. I always thought the yellow was my favourite, but the GID is giving it a hard run for its money.

there seems to be a lot of that going around today i threw in the towel after only four-deep. letting go of three of them gave me a huge sense of relief! at least they're not making any more, although on the other hand, rip charactics
The yellow Biollante was one of the first vinyl toys that I bought, and it still holds up after all these years. The header art is fantastic as well. I really think it does not get the attention it deserves, perhaps because of its large shelf footprint.
Thanks! These are great little toys. I wish I had several more of them to grow the family. Charactics has done some really great original sculpts, I confess I would like to see them take on some other characters. May be that they can only get Toho licenses, but that still leaves a few I'd love to see in mini vinyls.
Ah, brings back memories. Wow, must be quite a few years back. Visited his store and he was by his cashier counter painting the mini hedorahs, it must have been like 1.5' x 4' of counter space with other things laid out!!! And shortly after he call it quits!
This guy showed up with my Toygraph Baragon not too long ago. The Charactics mid size Hedo is one of my favorite sculpts.
I agree - they are awesome. I have only two (biollantes), but adore them. Wish I could find the other two!
