I also like the fade to clear but would like it more if it faded to the arms and head (or had some other fade effect) and wasn't just a fade from the top to the bottom of the figure.

Great Zyurai collection, Andy. Im really liking the painted orange and the painted brown. really would like to track some of these down, but like you said they rarely come up in auction or sale. Very Nice.

The figure makes really interesting use of a clear base figure, with some parts more opaque and others more transparent, in a fairly complex interaction. It's a symphony in design!

But it's an Old Skool Z thread. That would break the space/time continuum!

I'm out the door again. I'll put up pics in a few hours.

my collection is too insignificant to show but i have some contribution for sharing :D

only cronic fans will hit this thread, so thought maybe more appropriate for the headsup then in the general Japan Toys section.

New cronic coming. Details soon. Maybe someone can decode the code? :D

I think you've picked up some excellent pieces, but it's your decision to contribute or not. Wish you would. We could all benefit from seeing more pics of what's out there. Speaking of which....

My one and only Zyurai Asu, I like to keep him posed in a kind of Johnny Cash stance. I think he's one of the first pinstriped figures too. And the pinstriping on the back is just killer.

Andy, thanks for sharing all of your pictures. I think full collection pics are in order some day when you have time. Just saying, we need our minds to be blown.

Andy, your pics are awesome...thanks for the killer thread! Keiboba, easily my favorite pinstripe Zyurai. The style of pinstriping on that one and the matching Maverasu is incredible... modern and vintage at the same time. Damn, I need to post some pics.

These are all really fun to look at.

the early pinstripe GID asu--was that sprayed on using a mask? the other pinstripes look like they were done with a fine brush--that's why I asked.

    either way, they're all great.
