Here is a set I recently managed to pick up of Lurchi and his pals from the advertising characters used for Salamander shoes. Each is a vinyl squeaker toy, about 10cm tall. They're not too old, from the 70s, but I sure love them. I always loved these characters growing up, and have an especially soft spot inside (that is easy melted) for anything salamander-related. I am really happy I was able to get the whole set together now. They make a great family.

^^ Oh wow, nice set. I've seen these individually before but never together like this.
    They look great.

. . . and yeah, if you have known particular characters all your life it certainly adds that
extra special something to owning toys of them.

^ They look very happy to be together~ although the gnome guy seems to have his mind somewhere else... Something about these cute toys, when they're together in a set like this, it's an instant party :)

Also I love these guys ...
but I do not know anything about them
I only know that Canadians are made in 60's and branded wis-ton.
I think they are quite rare
    any additional information is appreciated

^^ Nice, i never seem to see any Barbapapa toys at all here in the UK.
    I'd certainly buy them if i saw them . . .

This duck looks vintage but i think its a relatively modern toy in a retro style.
    Love the sprays!

^^ Moog the sprays on those wings ARE perfect.
Diego my Barbapapa is marked "1976 Annette Tison and Talus Taylor all rights reserved Barbapapa doll, made in U.S.A., Shelcore Inc". I had never seen one in my outings (or internet joyrides) around here; I was glad to find him in Fig Belly's listing.

Boot-sale buy. I had just bought a large vintage Marx Toys blow-mold plastic dog called 'Barxie' (pull-along on little red wheels) and then a few sellers down the line i picked up this Combex rabbit for 25p. A good days hunting, indeed. The elderly seller asked if i was gonna give it to my dog and seemed pleased when i told her i was keeping it for my toy collection.

Still squeaks like a good 'un.

    Dingo?

'British Crown Colony of Hong Kong' was a term last used in 1981.
American zip-codes have been used since 1961.

I would guess by the look of the packaging the toy is 1960's or 70's.

Its a good looking cheap toy. Love the purple wheels . . . .

Marx Toys 18" long dog called 'Barxie'. Has to be pretty old this one . . . i'd guess anywhere between 50s / 60s / 70s.
This must of been made by the English Marx factory because the stamp has 'Gt. Britain' on it.
Louis Marx went defunct in 1980.

    £2 at a boot-sale.
