Oh man, that's adorable! Good job. I've often thought about doing something similar, like making a shelf diorama to place my toys in. Never got around to it though. I did once make a little living space in my college ceramics class for two toys I won from the now-defunct game Creatures Online... but that's about it.

Definitely lie the glass dome options with the wooden base. The only issue is finding local shops who actually sell them and won't charge too much. Found one at a thrift store about a year ago for a few bucks. Best find in a while, though it being small my options are unfortunately pretty limited.
