Not nearly as "labor intensive" as some recent face-melting pieces I've seen, but I like how it turned out: Just a regular XRay gid Galtan w/ Silver poured inside, Black Rub on outside, & one little dot for an eye...
I think this came out great, very nicely done. But I would dot the other eye also, thats just my personal preference.
I went back & forth quite a bit about that, but in the end, I fell that one eye is a bit creepier. (plus I couldn't center the eyes in the sockets very well)
Haha yeah centering the eyes can be a pain, use a pencil to get it right and go for it when you do this again it helps until you get comfortable.
That looks great and the one eye is definitely creepy. Really love how it looks when vinyl is painted inside.
Looks cool. Can we get a glow shot? I'm curious if it looks any different with the silver on the inside.
I think it messed up the GID... I thought that maybe silver inside would intensify the effect, but it seems to do the opposite. Will try to get a decent shot. Thanks for the comments, but realize that more toys will fall to ruin by my hand....
Nice - works nicely! I love the mini Galtan figure - one of two minis that I actually collect. It kinda sucks that they are released so infrequently - but right now I'm very happy about that! Hopefully once we have a dual-income household again Exo will release a few more. That's a shame about the glow being reduced though - certainly would have been cool to retain the glow.
I'm really digging the single eye! I've never been very good at "less is more", so when stuff like this woks so well I'm fascinated. Well done.
I really like this. Very simple and nice colors, and nearly anything with an inside pour is cool. The 'glow' shots are cool too, eventhough they don't show off what they intended. The first one, where the Galtan looks purple with a super right red eye is a great shot.
