I don't like when I gift something or do a trade/sale in their favor because they indicated it was pretty much a grail to them, only to sell it later :/

 

Fuck dude down the street that tries to fight me every time I park in front of his house, so I can get my mail.

I've come to realize that it's most likely not really entitlement. I know when I have acted that way it was because I had bad shit going on in my life, and losing a drop or getting cart jacked, (only to have some guy on IG post that he won again, and has 20 of the figure, and I have not one) was the last straw. Not justification for this behavior. I'm trying really hard to never go there again. I'm just saying I don't think it's entitlement as much as just people getting upset, reaching thier boiling point, not understanding how the process of making these affects how limited they are, etc...

What the fuck are you even talking about? In 8 years I have not had to worry about stuff like....oh I don't know Nuclear war and Nazis. Cannot believe people are still whining about Obama. Statistically one of the best Presidents we have ever had. He inherited a bankrupted country from George W., turned it around, and tried to give health care to all of America for cheaper than they can get at work. He got Bin Laden in one night. Yeah the guy is horrible!

It hasn't even been 8 months of this asshole and we have Nazis rioting in the streets and we are on the verge of nuclear war. Even most Trump supporters know they fucked up at this point

 

I was lucky to actually witness Air Force One as it landed earlier this year on a private runway encircled by a throng of extremely "passionate" pro and anti-Trump supporters. It was quite the scene to behold. As the great George Carlin always said, "I'm just here to see the show." It's been CTD time for a while now, but there's always hope.

Fuck you freight shipping companies. My family does some publishing and we recently had to find a new distributor since Last Gasp stopped distributing anyone's books but their own. All is well but today I'm at home waiting for a truck to come and take 2 pallets of books away. They were supposed to show up between 8am and noon. 12 passes and I call the company, and they eventually let me know that the driver still has to deliver some cargo so he won't be here until 2. He finally shows up at 2:30, but then looks at the pallets and says "Oh I didn't realize they would be so large, my lift gate won't handle these". Which is amazing since our distributor gave him THE EXACT INFORMATION ABOUT THE PALLETS (they copied me on the information sent). So while I'm trying to get a hold of the shipping company to see what they are going to do about this, the goddamned truck driver LEAVES. When I get a hold of the company they say that the driver claims I told him I refuse for him to take the books. Eventually I get hold of our new distributor's shipping guy who is livid about this and he contacts me after another 20 minutes to say he's got ANOTHER shipping company on the line, and that they can be at my place by 5:30 or 6 to get the pallets. I agree, even though that means having to postpone a doctor's appointment I have. Of course, I call after 6 to the new shipping company asking where the truck is, and even though they are supposedly open until 7pm, all the phones go to voicemail. So an entire goddamned day mostly wasted, the 2 pallets of books are still here, and I'm amazingly pissed.

 

So I get a picture of this stained glass window with a Celtic God in it that is a famous skateboard graphic, (Powell Peralta Per Welinder) from a guy in my skateboard forum. He asked who wanted it for $200, I was 2nd in line. Turns out he is from my state. I end up getting a call, sending him $200 PayPal and he originally offered to ship it, but he said "I would definitely insure it" I said okay. Well he texts me saying hey I'm coming to Mpls Friday let's just meet up. We meet. The window has like 6 cracks in it. I tell him wtf right there and he says well I don't have the cash on me to refund you. I take the window home. I gave him a choice to either refund me completely and meet back up, or refund me $100 and I'll just try to forget. The skateboard community is not much different than on here, you report warps, cracks, scratches in the skateboard world too. I even said "yeah no matter how we do it I don't want it to crack" so he knew and just didn't say. Dude is in Africa now apparently.....Still he is a highly respected member on the site and I Will air this shit if we can't work it out. Be honest, do the right thing. How old are we? Fuuuuck!

In the UK on ebay there are a couple of sellers that occasionally sell interesting sofubi etc.The UK is a total desert for vintage stuff and what new stuff appears on the bay is rarely to my tastes.
Couple of weeks ago one of the sellers was selling an Akumaizer toy 'buy it now' for £18 ,I was skint and didn't buy it.Hoping it would still be there in a few days when I had funds.
18 quid was a reasonable price for a pretty beat up (not very rare) toy....
Anyway...couple of days later it resufaces on Ebay for about 50 quid.Sold by the 'other' UK sofubi seller.
So 'Fuck You' at your lame attempt at flipping in a tiny community,it isn't rare and anyone who buys it at that price is being mugged off.

Probably won't be posting much around here anymore, or any social media for that matter, since now absolutely everything I post is monitored by my family.
I'm likely selling off at least half of my toy collection soon as well because we're about $2,000 deep in medical/veterinarian bills. My boyfriend also has to quit his job in order for us to move out of my parents' house in CT and into his dad's place in DE, so that's going to hurt us financially. We need to get out of here though if we both want to have a somewhat normal life.
Last night I had to have Jon stay up with me because I didn't feel safe alone, and he didn't want me to have to call an ambulance for myself... things are bad. Really bad.
