Wow. Love this one. Your painting and airbrush skills mesh quite nicely. Rocket... Dream Rocket? Maybe not.
Man Bert! You make my head hurt your customs are so nice! That Hone is cool, and the box its super nice too. Can't wait to see the next. You an I will need to work out a trade or something. Phil
Bert, again, GREAT job. He will do quite nicely at the Rocket Society Headquarters. The header, too, is just the candles on the cake, as the icing has already been spoken for. Great weekend.
Had a bit of time and made this custom. It is based on a drawing I did almost a year ago. With this one, I just wanted to do something pretty simple with a production style paint job. NFS Here's the drawing: NFS
awesome! love the way the colors "transition" to another. and the color choices are great most of your stuff looks like it will glow at night.
hey Bert...Rocket Borg is adjusting nicely to his new family. And your header-stand idea is pretty rad...now as long as he'll stay up there, we'll be all good. Sorry for the horrible iphoner...waiting for a few other things to come in before I shoot this fucker into space, portrait-style.
Hahaha...the header stand just came about cause I was trying to figure out how to shoot it with the header on it's short side because of the drawing. I tried different boxes but none of them worked so....I figured that a 100lb Bristol can support the weight of about 10 RxH figures easy without having to make any extra support. Sure enough, the header stand was born. As far as Hone Borg goes, that might be the last one I paint in that style where the ribs are masked off. It is a I FART A LOT and a half to mask this guy so if anyone wants it, I'll probably charge a little more if it the request is to make another of the same style. I really like the way the head came out. The mohawk has some nice subtle colors in the black to gold fade with a bit of green in it. I thought I had uploaded pics of the head....
Fucking HOT Chaos. I wish you'd left just a bit more of the fleshie colored vinyl, I love the colors.
I know what you mean. I was trying but that clear green is just so nice that I ended up painting more than I originally imagined. Thanks J.
I just got the Beautiful Book of Monsters and thought, there's a fair amount of overspray and some interesting color combos. As I kept going back and forth in the book, the red vinyl toys kept catching my eye with it's dark blues and silver combo on red vinyl. I looked up on my shelf and saw the red pearl chaos...
