OMG! This looked like its already in your studio. Don't even know this existed! Awesome! Great colors.
It doesn't exist - at least not yet. I believe this is a proto type and may be put into production in the future. Here's hoping! I've always been a huge fan of the Gebora and this addition to that family rules.
I'm also sold! I think it's a good fit with the rest of his toys, + a good back story. I think at this point there is only this proto made. He says it will be available at an upcoming event.
Haha, in my excitement did not check the usual haunts. That's Target Earth. Anyone know what he's saying about mixing retro vinyl with patchi vinyl? but looks like he design it to fit with retro vinyl. The upper arms to the shoulder reminds me of Guilala.
yeah i made the gebora connection and checked out the target earth link from KC, but it seems to be dated, cause it hasn't been updated for a month looks like MAZA and GEBORA had a baby...
nailed it I LOVE Maza and there's definitely a lot of Maza in this but I don't really like it at all oddly enough
I'll throw my vote in for this one also. A definite Gebora/Maza connection. The eyes remind me of semi-flattened bottle caps that have been nailed to the head. So cool!
i wish the shoulders were a bit smoother instead of just looking like two arms stuck on and the legs a different length i was gonna say longer, but it might look interesting if they were shorter too... maybe with bigger feet
This is cool. Is it just a bootleg Maza (note the saucers in the belly as well) or are both based on something else? If it's a bootleg Maza, I kinda like it more because it makes me laugh, particularly the "false god beast" name, hahahaha.
This is great. I love how they used the spinning guts part. My only problem with it are the arm joints but that might go away in hand.
not trying to kill the mood, but if Maza was going to make an appearance on Sesame Street, he might look like this.. I like the Gebora (?) and Maza, this just looks half-baked and funky to me. Was it supposed to be some kind of collab? are people just running out of ideas? I dunno...to each his own. the colorway isn't too bad though.
I actually do like this character but I just can't believe they would be so obvious in cashing in on Maza. . Now I know that maza borrowed some things from other monsters and bootlegs are pretty accepted in this hobby but the similarity in the face and the texture are too just too much for me. I could maybe ignore it if this was the first time but in my mind this is the same thing they did with their Smogon 2go and the whole Hukkokudo line. Everything Marmit does seems to be motivated by $$$
I have to assume this is some kind of collaboration... that's totally just a Maza, re-sculpted. It's a neat figure, but not too subtle.
I'm going to be another downer. Something about the eyes and proportions is throwing me off. I like the Geborah. I like crude stuff. Together, this just doesn't work for me. But then I don't like their old Sofvilife Hedorahs. And I hated the Maza at first, but warmed up to it.
I didn't think it was an attempt to "cash in" OR "rip off" but maybe "POKE FUN?!" I dunno, that's how I saw it especially with that name.
i don't know, "poking fun" might be a stretch... just looks like a blatant maza rip that doesn't look nearly as good as the original... can't pull of that texture like exohead. its funky no doubt and kind of cool, but unless this is a collab which i doubt it is, kind of sad that such a new sculpt is already being "reinterpreted" by another company. and the gebora mouth is cool, i really can't stand the feet though all that said, i still haven't been able to score a maza so this might be a halfway decent consolation
