I think I need to add toys to give to this thread. Vombie sent me this orange Gargamess (I actually don't know what it is. Gargamel bull-headed fight figure). Up for grabs here.
Completely speechless. Thank you SO MUCH, Bert and Chris!!! BEFORE: AFTER: Gatchabert Custom Maity by James Likeness, on Flickr Gatchabert Custom Maity Back by James Likeness, on Flickr
Came out great Bert! Glad to see someone could put it to some use. Daniel had given it to me in a trade as a freebie, I kept it thinking one day I'll learn to paint. Yeah that didn't happen.
Crap! Who got the Daimajin I had my eye on? Edit: Well, never mind then. <img src=\"{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif\" alt=\"\" title=\"Smile\" />
i got two awesome micros in the mail a while back thanks again brent, and big thanks james for putting this on! i will definitely donate if this gets going again,, i think it should be a regular thing
I received my Blank Flesh Shinto-San thanks to Dean, a couple weeks ago, I'm mostly done except for a little color touch up here and there... Thanks, for my first Shinto, and helping to suck me into the RxH World... Just a couple touches on the back of his belt, and his right leg, and of course I have to finish in the diamonds on his tail...
Happy to see the Shinto went to the right guy. I like that you're making use of the split man/beast nature of the sculpt with your paint. Please let us see the finished version when you're done. The RxH hook is in!
I got my gift from Russblue today! It was a little late so he put together a great prize box. I got the teal RxH Mirock head, stickers, super7 missle, and a yellow un-painted FU ROBO by Lucky Nakazawa!!!! Thanks TiredChildren and Russblue!!
@slipstar1 - Wow, Michael! Super tight job on your prize so far - can't wait to see the finished work! @Tired Children - Almost over the mountain, James! As it went on the little engine kept bravely puffing faster and faster, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can."
Thanks, tooth, I haven't forgotten about the Pestar I'm painting for you either, I'm almost done, but I like working on 10 things at once, so when one thing is drying I work on a different toy.
So CanadaPost and I both officially suck. I sent my gift, a book, the cheapest way possible, and shipping was 13.50$. Then I got home, thought "that's crazy, I could probably have gotten it for cheaper on Amazon" and indeed, it was 4$, +4$ for shipping. Duh. Can't give books away these days...
That's insane that it would have cost less to just keep the book and buy a fresh one for the other fella --- your heart was in the right place...
Sorry I let my sails lose their wind on this one guys! Gonna get these last people wrapped up here in the next week or so, then we can start figuring out what we want to do with the extras. Let's get this finished up!
